I have PMd and texted but we are going to have to cancel. Just finished packing fridge and middle son announced he was at Waterloo on his way home to surprise us! He only texted so that we'd leave a key out as he thought I'd be at the gym and Nick at golf. We don't see him very often. Can I pay the £18 by paypal please. Very sorry to muck you about but I don't want to miss the chance of feeding and fussing one of my babies(he's 25).

The Stratford car boot sale is on this morning in the car park next to the Racecourse Touring Park Campsite - we haven't been yet but understand that's where it is. Hope some of you find some bargains

Wherever you are here - rally fields or the campsite Touring Park - it's a great location for Stratford & the River Festival especially in this glorious weather! We have invited Coventry DA members (via their friendly Marshals) to browse & buy at our Sale here tomorrow 10am - midday.

Thank you to all those who rounded up their rally payment - we received an extra £46 that will be donated to Cancer Research UK .

If anyone needs a taxi - a licensed Hackney carriage firm is Othello taxis (recommended by Touring Park) 01789 336 226. Another option used by Funsters is A To B Taxis on 01789 293 333 . They should be able to pick up & drop off in/near the rally field.

What a cracking start weatherwise....now esconced in Wether spoons with a cool pint or 3....hàd to turn the van round because of the strong (warm) breeze, a few others are doing the same. Oh yeh, the river fest...lots of boats, flags, bands, music, people...and that bridge!!!!

To avoid the bridge, the walk from the campsite is easier than going to town first

Sat away from the crowds across the river listening to the music, watching the boats & about to have coffee & cake outside the RSC cafe Happy Wombles!
