Well I’m totally unimpressed with both these companies and the other one I tried. I could understand them being busy and might have to wait a bit, but these 3 would not even take a booking for later. Lesson learned - taking toad to all future events.

At least they was honest and not just took your booking and leave you waiting somewhere.

True, but not everyone can walk long distances and when there’s no bus service, taxis are the only option. Not taking bookings is not very professional
 
Two keys have been handed in to Derek and Mary's Van (Emmitdb)
The two keys are separated by a split ring and operate a German Security system.

Please check with your neighbours to see if their 'van has such a system.
It may be that the keys have been laid there from before we arrived but I doubt it.
Found between Rows 2 and 3 Close to the Stewards Vans.

Sale in our field 10-12 today - feel free to bring a table or your items to sell to the shelter area if you want them more central :)
 
@lindyloot has a Cadac Safari Chef for £50 - here now at the shelter or at Lymington
 
Fab fireworks last night...just for us! Back in Wetherspoons now, can't seem to stay away!!
 
For the info and thanks to all those attendees at Stratford River Festival who donated and bought at our table of books, sold for the Charity, Prostate Cancer UK.
We also had a Motorhome Fun Teddy donated (Thanks @Jim) that was auctioned and won by @ksaeraenn
All in all the total amount of money going to the charity is.......... £70.65!!!

PS. We have been donated a Ford Transit Mk6 Interior screen insulated cover that will swell the fund even more.

Thank you all for your support at the Sale - lots of items going to new homes & kind donations with an excellent amount raised by @emmitdb & all those who came along (y)
 
We will be in & around the Shelter from 8pm tonight so if anyone wants to join us you will be most welcome :hi: If anyone wants to join the Quiz just bring along a pen & paper - bottle of red wine for the winner! :wine:

Thanks to Karen and Alan for the invite on Friday, we in Coventry really appreciated it (y) Should be a regular meet with the atmosphere in Stratford and the fireworks worth seeing and all for free.

Just glad we had Peter and Angela as our team mates, thank you Chris and Alice for organising a very enjoyable quiz, the winning bottle of red wine went down very nicely too :wine:
 
Another great weekend!! ..... A huge thank you to Karen and Alan and all the marshalls for all their hard work.
Not sure which of you organized the wonderful weather but if you could do that for all the rallies we would all appreciate it!:D2(y)

Just packing to leave our first rally and it was great fun. Thanks to Karen and Alan and all the marshals for your hard work . And to chris and Jeff @welshcake lady - great company and such fun
 
I think @Wombles are amazing and should get some kind of a reward - 5 years free membership @Jim? They have organised (extremely well) so many successful and enjoyable meets beyond the call of duty, and several more to come yet this year. Well done and thanks Karen and Alan - I am in awe!!

Just arrived back home and want to say a huge thank you to Karen, Alan and everyone involved for making us newbies feel so welcome. It was our first rally and will definitely be the start of many more, we met so many nice genuine people and can’t wait until the next one ( Lymington ). Thanks again for all your hard work organising it and to the fantastic marshals which made the weekend go so smoothly
