To remind you - Other Information:

Manilva is situated as a base from which you can explore Andalucía, with its picturesque white towns and villages nestling in the region’s mountains, to its historic cities such as Seville, Malaga, Granada and Cordoba. Just a short hop across the Strait of Gibraltar from continental Africa, namely Ceuta and Morocco. Gibraltar (duty free) is a 30 minute drive. The nearest village is Manilva or the town of Puerto de la Duquesa both a few minutes' walk or cycle along the beach front.

Price negotiated is €14 (Euro) a day per van, to include 1 or 2 people and includes electricity (16amp) and wifi. A calendar month can be negotiated once you are there if you so wish. A figure of €360 has been mentioned but electric will then be charged separately, so that will not be far off the €14 anyway.

This is a pop 'in - out meeting.' there are no formal arrangements or travel plans. There is no commitment to stay the whole 3 weeks people can arrive at any point and stay as long or as short as they like. We are setting these weeks as a guideline to say that's when we are having the "do". Hopefully as we get nearer the time we can plan things to make sure everyone is fitted in. However, they are selling pitches for long stayers, so it cannot be ruled out that restriction on numbers will be applied. As already mentioned, we have an allocation of 30 spaces at present. Naturally, you can also come and go when you want and pay the normal site rates at times / dates that suit you subject to their availability in the event they do not agree to increase the numbers. Tonka and Mr Motorhome are in contact with Rudi (site manager) and will keep him informed.

There is no commitment and no deposit, this is all being arranged with goodwill.

Note: we have been told the weekend of 28th feb 2014 is 'Andalucía Day' a public holiday in this part of Spain (Malaga) and many sites will be very busy. This MotorhomeFUN gathering is to start on 5th - 25th March 2014 (three weeks)

More than likely...:thumb: Last time we had Paella day, curry day, chicken day, grey peas day,.... any excuse for food and drink

We have no set plans, things will all happen at their own pace and sure everyone will have a good time...

Reserve list.. !!! Please be aware at present there are no guaranteed spaces over the 30, so please be understanding if no one drops out or we cannot secure more pitches.. Hope to get some contact with the site manager in the next week and firm things up..

Once again.. PLEASE DO NOT ARRIVE BEFORE THE 5th.... There is a large Spanish rally on at the site and very doubtful you will get access....

I am reading lots of comments on various forums and other websites about Spanish campsites being very busy, also police moving on vans from wild camping spots along the coast. Couple that with Friday the 28th Feb being a public holiday in the area ( Andalucia day) and it could be a busy weekend.

Make sure you have plans made and backup stops when travelling on route to the meet....

We are arriving Santander next Wednesday (26th) and are going to overnight at Zarragoza then intended going via Benidorm for a few days before carrying on to Bella Vista for the 5th. We haven't booked anywhere and was hoping to just turn up at Villasol or a site in the area and get a pitch. Might have to have a rethink. Any suggestions are welcome.

How about going via Burgos (ACSI), Aranjuez (ACSI) close to Madrid, Cordoba (ACSI) and then down to Bella Vista. As none of these sites are on the coast should have room.

You should be safe enough at Villasol, they don't take advance bookings, so vans coming and going all the time,

Lots of Funsters already there, who will no doubt, let you know should that not be the case !

Have a safe journey down, enjoy yourselves in Benidorm ( if you don't, you have only yourself to blame . . . ask the Beni Crazy Gang !!!!! ), and I look forward to seeing you at Bella Vista,

I have confirmed at each stage whenever requested. On the last list it states that the dates are confirmed. I am having difficulty replying to your pm (keeps timing me out) but I have not changed my mind. Hope this is sufficient to confirm again that I would like to attend for the dates previously stated and confirmed. If this causes a problem please let me know. I had thought that with me only turning up towards the end, others would be able to occupy this same pitch for the first two weeks. In that way more people get to benefit.
I don't envy you your role.
