Other Information:

Manilva is situated as a base from which you can explore Andalucía, with its picturesque white towns and villages nestling in the region’s mountains, to its historic cities such as Seville, Malaga, Granada and Cordoba. Just a short hop across the Strait of Gibraltar from continental Africa, namely Ceuta and Morocco. Gibraltar (duty free) is a 30 minute drive. The nearest village is Manilva or the town of Puerto de la Duquesa both a few minutes' walk or cycle along the beach front.

Price negotiated is €14 (Euro) a day per van, to include 1 or 2 people and includes electricity (16amp) and wifi. A calendar month can be negotiated once you are there if you so wish. A figure of €360 has been mentioned but electric will then be charged separately, so that will not be far off the €14 anyway. We have negotiated €1.50 for dogs (half price, per day) for those staying for the full period.

* This is a pop 'in - out meeting.' there are no formal arrangements or travel plans. There is no commitment to stay the whole 3 weeks people can arrive at any point and stay as long or as short as they like. We are setting these weeks as a guideline to say that's when we are having the "do". Hopefully as we get nearer the time we can plan things to make sure everyone is fitted in. However, they are selling pitches for long stayers, so it cannot be ruled out that restriction on numbers will be applied. As already mentioned, we have an allocation of 30 spaces at present. Naturally, you can also come and go when you want and pay the normal site rates at times / dates that suit you subject to their availability in the event they do not agree to increase the numbers. Tonka and Mr Motorhome are in contact with Rudi (site manager) and are keeping him informed.

There is no commitment and no deposit, this is all being arranged with goodwill.

Note: we have been told the weekend of 28th Feb 2014 is 'Andalucía Day' a public holiday in this part of Spain (Malaga) and many sites will be very busy. This MotorhomeFUN gathering is to start on 5th - 25th March 2014 (three weeks)

You can visit the La Bella Vista web site HERE for more details regarding the facilities and services, or [Broken Link Removed] for the campsite rules.

Hi please put our details on for the Malaga stay, we should be down in Malaga on about March the 7th and would stay for around a week. Looking forward to meeting some other motorhomers.

There is no issue with coming to La Bella Vista. However the list is already oversubscribed and 'closed' to any further additions. We have 30 places at an agreed rate of 14€ per night. See the original postings.

Should you decide to attend there is no issue with joining in with us but you may have to pay full camp rates. Things may change closer to the time in case some on the list can't make it but we will have to wait and see. :thumb:

Looking forward to meeting you.

Thank you for the info thought we may be able to squeeze on prior to the motorhomers turning up on the 18th as we would have to leave by then. But if not possible we understand. Regards Daz n Tina

La Bella Vista

As we are already booked onto the site for part of the time the funsters are having fun, perhaps we may meet up. We have only just been recruited to Motorhome Fun so this would seem to be an ideal opportunity to put faces to names.

Will you please take our name off the list. Sorry we have left it so long, we have been having a shall we? shan't we? debate since November when we took the motorhome back to England. We are at present staying in our caravan in Benidorm. We have decided not to bring the van back to Spain. In March we are putting it up for sale, and hopefully replacing it with a smaller van which we can park by the caravan. We look forward to future gatherings of the funsters

Co-ordinates are :> 36.346224,-5.236574 or Mapcode: (Spain) kv8.cnq or Gps: N36 20.771 W5 14.185

Looking forward to seeing you all there! :thumb:

Any chance of putting our names down. Just paid to be a full member so would like to join you all. We have used the site for many years when it was called Chullera 1. When it closed down we thought they were building houses but it has turned into a very modern site. We liked the idea you could walk from the site through the small village and on to the marina, where we used to sit out and have a nice cheap chinese. In those days the site only opened from the 15th June to the 15th September.

Thanks for your reply and we hope you are able to accommodate us on your rally. I didi make a mistake as the campground used to be Camping Chulera 3 and not 1, I think no.1 was about half a mile up the road and I think was open all year. However that is now closed and on our last visit was just an empty plot. I think all this was just as the downturn in the Spanish economy as we felt sure they were bought to develop into housing.

Hope to see you all on the 5th March.

Kath and Keith.
