Could work as CaravanFun , how about BoatFun we do have similarities, we frequently visit yacht chandlers if we’re near one for bits and pieces.

Although we visited a local C&MC site last year and, were just manoeuvring backwards on our chosen pitch which was a bit tight because of a caravan opposite, when a ‘lady’ walking by told us we had to park on the correct side of the marker, it was obvious we were in the process of parking which needed a wiggle or two.
I found this to be really rude and spoilt my weekend.
I think we were the only motorhome on the site at the time.
She obviously disliked the fact we had a motorhome.

On another note what is the word for people watching people parking and setting up? Gongoogelers for watching boats.

That's unusual as we had noticed a large increase in mohos versus c'vans lately.

I smell some pretty poor Photoshop work is responsible. I did something similar years ago with my pals wife coming off a plane with Paul McCartneys arm around her! :whistle2:

I think it will increase discussions why we should all tow caravans sell the Motorhome because you have not usually got a car when using your Motorhome, I have had so many people telling me caravans are best, I had had both and I can see the caravanners point , but do I want it rammed down my throat on here . No Thanks.

I don't see that you can actually stop it! This is the interweb and people can say whatever they want without having to provide proof (does Jim creep round all of our houses at 03:00 checking we still have a moho?!!)

You just have to relax and accept it, as I said the other day on the Bugatti Veyron Owners Club forum...

To the people taking this thread even remotely seriously. Please stop I’ve laughed enough today. Your reactions are so much funnier than the first post.

If I knew a young couple in a mixed marriage where the lad's mother was harassed to the point of mental illness by the paparazzi which caused her mental health issues and relentless following led to her untimely death. Where the lad served the country in the armed forces in an active roll, where his wife is subjected to racial smears and where they were both subject of pretty constant press speculation and constant intrusion.
Where they have no means of defending themselves or live a relatively normal private life. Where people see them as fair game and figures of fun. Well, whatever their background I would cut them a little slack I would let them join.

A Tugger is an affectionate term for a caravanner. Most every member here has been a tugger at one time, and plenty of them will revert back to tugging at some time in the future, As ever, and unlike most every other motorhome club, they will still be most welcome here, even if anyone notices.

But I have to say, if you get upset by the term tugger, then you are in the wrong place
yes agree, I believe Motorcaravanners Club do not allow tuggers to join unless already members who have reverted back to the dark side.

Mmmm, this will take a lot of thinking about.

As I remember, there's no requirement to own a motorhome. So, how would we know if they were tuggers?

They have a caravan? You learn something new every day! It must be a very posh caravan. A Swift I expect.

Mind you, their Ma has some caravan sites on her estate, so I heard. How handy is that.

A tricky one Jim, as the name implies MOTORHOMEfun!! But as you have been allowing certain people with caravans to join meets how do to now say NO!! Also, what about people such as Martin who has gone to the dark side, he has been a great asset to fun for a long time. There are meets where room is limited and a caravan unit would take away room because if requiring room for the car. Over to you Jim.
