RWG Mobile

Am I right in thinking that the phone sim you can use all the minutes and texts and data in the UK as well as eu , as thinking of leaving EE due to them charging me £35 for the same thing , used my data early this year in France and Spain with no problems so if RWG is as good might be worth going over and save £15 a month .

I ported mine and the OH's EE number to RWG earlier in the summer. They've been working fine in France Spain and round the UK since including this morning when my VirginMedia broadband went down.

Yes , don't (like me) buy the wrong SIM !
'ported' is new to me , I presume people mean transferred?
I won't follow up with the obvious question

Ported means transfer your existing number across to a different network

Bloody young uns
Probably because that’s what it’s called in the mobile world😊

I wouldn't live my life worrying about if a company is likely to go bust. Not heard any rumors about this with RWG. Anyway, if they did youjust go find the next good deal. I swap providers all the time. It's as easy as going to Sainsbury's instead of Tesco for your shopping.

I'm on my 3 Sim in 3 weeks over here in the Balkans!!!

I have them for 3 phones and a data SIM. No issues at all.

Others may have had bad experiences, I can’t complain though.

Ordered RWG 200GB phone and data sim Thursday, it arrived Tuesday 26th, we activated it & submitted PAC code Wednesday, number was ported over from 3 on Thursday & working fine - so far its doing what it said on the tin (here in UK). Crossing over into EU Wednesday so will see how we get on there...

Yes I think the secret is to buy the right sim !

Wish I could!

Trying to purchase from their webshop and no matter which card I use they’re all being declined! It’s a glitch their end as they’re working elsewhere no problem.

It may be because They are changing over their payment system yesterday and today. Those of us who already have sim’s have had to change / reconfirm payments.

RWG are refunding me which is good of them . Think their website was a little vague but certainly, partly my fault .
Credit where credit is due

Well I spoke to a very helpful young lady at RWG this morning and explained my problem with being unable to make payment as cards were being declined. Said she’d look into it and let me know as their payment provider, Stripe, might be having an issue. Maybe a coincidence but I tried again 20 minutes later and my Revolut card was accepted!

We have the Big Data Sim from RWG Mobile. It gives you 200GB of data and roaming in the EU is included. We've just spent 10 days in France, Belgium & Luxembourg and the service throughout was brilliant. Around 25 - 30 MB download and approximately 8-10 upload mostly. I was able to do whatever work I needed to do on my laptop and there was zero buffering when watching tv including live football or movies on our firestick and I didn't bother changing the definition from 4k or FHD. Maybe I would need to on a longer trip but at £20 per month with no restrictions on use I don't think there's a better alternative available anywhere.

Hi is their payment only by credit card or debit card or can you set up a direct debit as going to go with them very soon.

I believe it is only debit or credit cards.
