It's going to be crazy trying to park this number of vans if most are arriving on Sunday. Also, is it a 2 lane road leading to the site? Otherwise the locals will need to be warned to get their helicopters out, or stock up their freezers. :BigGrin:

Once you turn off the main road and cross the cattle grid... it is single track, it only goes to the bird reserve and two other properties though. Anyone with walkie talkies? Jane :Smile:

Pl can we be near the toilet as we have a small caravan with no loo

I may be wrong, but I thought this meet was a self contained unit type meet.. i.e no toilet blocks. But I am sure someone will respond ??????

I can live with soft.. it is when it gets to be Peterborough mud that I cannot.

Can always tow the black tank tote (as I did in France) to the dump... i.e macerate it to the tote then hitch it to the scooter and tow it to the dump point... But we can normally last a week if we have to.

Have I got it muddled -----I thought although the rally starts on Sunday 8th we could come on Thursday 5th .??? Making it a longer holiday.:Doh:

There's masses of space, so the more the merrier, be good to see you there.

The place is a regular camping site, it's £6.00 per night, money is put into honesty box via envelope, so anytime you are looking for a place to stay it's a good one to remember - no hookup though.

You can arrive earlier than the start of the meet, but please remember that it's possible you may have to move to suit the meets layout.

Mate, you know as well as I do I am a total expert at getting the darned van to sit nicely with its axles on the ground rather than the wheels like normal folk !!!!

That's why I was asking if you were going in on the Sunday/Monday Mavis. :Smile:
If I can get a stand in, we'll arrive on the Thursday, if not it will be Friday.
