Apparently tam is there now, have you all made up now.How long have you been in Sidi Ifni now Garry? Are you finding enough to keep busy? I loved it there for a total chill out and the surf but it had an end of the world feel, like time had stopped.
Think that might be a bit soon ChasApparently tam is there now, have you all made up now.
Unlikely I guess.Apparently tam is there now, have you all made up now.

What surprised us when we stopped at the same parking area was the difference in a few hundred yards. Street vendors selling popcorn and candy floss from the back of mopeds or bicycles for a few dirams a pop. And then a massive shopping precinct a few yards away selling gucci and rolex. I wondered how the ordinary Moroccan in the street feels when he sees such high value items well out of his reach.?This could be a day that's going to undo all the great bargains we've had so far this trip!

Same all over Asia in the bigger towns and cities, they just appear to accept that's the way it is.What surprised us when we stopped at the same parking area was the difference in a few hundred yards. There I was, minding my own business in my little van and this f*** off big Morelo rolled in...Same all over Asia in the bigger towns and cities, they just appear to accept that's the way it is.
That's very unfair, he said 'somewhere' which is true, 'dumped' is a turn of phrase for what you've done by not passing them onto him as promised, I don't think anyone thought that dumped meant you'd thrown them away which seems to be how you've taken it. You've left them safely with the campsite but just because the place is on the way back to the port for you and others doesn't mean he was planning on travelling that way.Tam said I said what I did in his thread
There's an old saying, "you can watch a thief, but you can't watch a liar"
And for anyone that doesn't know Kenitra guy is on the way back up to the port we leave from going back to Spain
I had a chat with the dutch owner this afternoon, and its a proper restomod. They bought it as a retired schoolbus from Texas 6 years ago and imported it to Rotterdam. When they got go look at it properly they discovered that the chassis and the v8 petrol engine were well past their best but the bodywork was basically good. So they sourced a modern Eurocargo chassis and running gear and sympathetically altered the body to fit it, so they now have a vehicle that looks old but with modern conveniences such as air con, Air brakes and suspension, cruise control, automatic etc. The reason it's partially green is that when the buses are retired they are painted so all the traffic no longer has to stop and they managed to scratch off the paint to expose the school bus sign. There are some really clever touches, like the ghekkos on the bonnet that are actually windscreen washers and the hood ornament thats from a 1930s Oldsmobile. It really is a credit to the owners ingenuity, fascinating. This pulled into Kaouki. Obviously a bit of a restomod, hydraulic jacks nice big winch and modern Eurocargo engine.

And? We all get p*ssed off from time to time. He's honest about his feelings, more than most on here, like him or loathe him, he's human.I think tams post below regarding guardian parking ( £1.70 ) Morocco 2022
Speaks volumes, he’s never hidden his nature , he is who he is
.he kept saying 20dh , 20dh .. I said how about 50dh ...took a note out my pocket ...he put his hand out for it , I ripped it in 8 pieces and threw 7 out the window as I drove off.
Your post is appreciated jock…
I have been asked about Tam and without breaking rule one I no longer wish to be associated with him, he has blocked me and all the others that were with him and that were going to meet him on on this trip on the forum and personally.
I would be grateful to you all if in future that a connection is not made…
Thank you for your understanding.
That is very sad indeed considering all the support you and others have given him in recent times, he doesn’t accept advise, not making excuses for him but he really needs to seek professional mental health advise, must be devastating for all of you.
I don't know what's gone on but regardless the way Tam appears to have been hung drawn and quartered without any explanation as to why so he can at least 'defend himself' is very wrong in my book. Having had this happen to me I know how he must feel.To be factual and clear it has nothing to do with his mental health. It is all our decision not to associated with him.. in return he has blocked us all…
The only thing I will say is he is not the person we are led to believe.
Hi Minxy The reason I left them safely in Kenitra for him was because I had already decided to part ways with him because a day or 2 previously he had lied about me by saying I left him high & dry in Asilah when the truth is he was waiting for Jackie, in his words i took off down south like shit of a shovel when in fact I had went to the next biggish Town down about 60 mins drive away and spent a week there, and actually spoke to a guy to see about him painting Tams van, the Euromobil, in truth I helped get him & the dogs on the ferry into Morocco, got him his Moroccan sim card and showed him around Asilah and bought him a woollen Moroccan hoodie for his birthday and helped him with some shopping and got him a safe place to park up as he didn't like campsites, previous to this I gave him hundreds of pounds to get his dogs rabies jabs and titre tests not to mention since then numerous items, I actually can't remember all what I have given him since I met him and on this trip I bought him the gas hose cost me £30 & was giving him a Garmin sat nav worth around £300 & I also had some Guinness for him and cheese & coffee etc, in spite of the falling out incident I still gave Steve Barchetta the gaslow hose that I had bought along with the brake cylinder because I believed Tam to be stuck, truth is I have bent over backwards for Tam and went out of my way to help him on lots of occasions but to be honest he just became too demanding expecting me to drive almost 1000km to give him this brake part & hose that's why I told him I'm not his personal fecking courier,That's very unfair, he said 'somewhere' which is true, 'dumped' is a turn of phrase for what you've done by not passing them onto him as promised, I don't think anyone thought that dumped meant you'd thrown them away which seems to be how you've taken it. I don’t think any of the above quotes is hung , drawn and quartered, it is sad for all parties involved, but then shit happens, just move on, it’s a big world out there, all of us are the lucky ones, have a look around the world, millions of people have other things to worry about, like for example where is the next meal for my family going to come from, or a house which is bombed to pieces or their families murdered by some fanatics ……I don't know what's gone on but regardless the way Tam appears to have been hung drawn and quartered without any explanation as to why so he can at least 'defend himself' is very wrong in my book. Having had this happen to me I know how he must feel.
I don't expect you or the others to tell us the details as it's not for this forum nor our business however it doesn't sit right with me how he seems to have been pretty much 'ghosted'. I'm sure you and the others wouldn't like it if the tables were turned.
