Andy, talk to him about Chinese Sat Navs. :thumb: He's the man.

Never mind polishing, I've still got to wash off all the dead beasties from yesterday's run back from Chester.

Cheers,

Jock.

I have Jock
Join the queue !! :Rofl1::Rofl1:
John is on holiday

Edit my Chinese sat nav makes far fewer mistakes than my tt1005 or garmin 465t

The ground is firm to hard it has some ups and downs so bring your levellers. There are plenty of taps, and the Elsan is only a few yards away. We've got the club tent up in the trade area, and the Funsters marquee up in the rally area.

I have taken pictures but you'll have to wait till later to see them as we are just off out for a meal:thumb: Back in a couple of hours.

Oh goody - we can try out our new super duper auto laser guided levelling system purchased at huge expense..........

...... But they look like a couple of Fiamma blocks to me.....

We hope to leave home by 3pm (some hope......) so should arrive about 5pm ready for our first temperance drink and gospel song before sundown :thumb:

You're right Roger, we will be homeless if we don't find a van soon. Mind you I know where there is a very nice park home with no one in it!!
Not this week you don't:Wink:
But I could sell you a nice little Park home.
Or Small Motorhome for the right price.

Just back from the pub and I can see Jim has funsters signs on the tent and secured the area from other invaders

This is the Funster trade stand, somewhere for funsters to rest weary legs and have a chat. We are on pitch 51. No matter whether you are rallying with us or not. Pop in for a tea, coffee, beer etc:thumb:

This is the Funster marquee, so we have a place of our own to meet in the evenings. See you here :thumb:

I think that at least Warners could have provided a decent sized marquee.......

That is way bigger than I thought it would be:thumb:

Woe is me:cry:

We are definitely going to be day visitors this year (which is just as well as cannot find our camping tickets) all the hotels near the show are full and we now have to be home early Sunday morning to wave good bye to Herman:cry: Then, as soon as he turns the corner out of sight, we are hot footing it up north to see that Dethleffs we have been drowning over for a couple of months.

If there is a coffee gathering on Saturday morning we will come and say hello. Going to miss the party in that lovely big tent!:cry:

Looks good!

I have just spoken to site security and they have told me that the official opening time for campers is 10am. There is a possibility that the gates may be opened earlier, but this cannot be guaranteed. For late comers please be advised that the gates will be closed at 9pm prompt.

Brisey.

I haven't got time to search the thread the wife say's I have to load the van!

Somebody remind me what's on in the Fun area over the weekend, I know the marquee Saturday night and the bacon baps on Sunday but do we still have a cakey/bikkie get together and when?

Oh and I've just noticed Shifty's arriving Thursday too, will someone text me when he's settled in so I can stagger my arrival [STRIKE]to avoid parking[/STRIKE] so I'm nearby? :Rofl1:

If people aren't expecting an initiation ceremony they're in for a helluva shock when they meet ShiftZZ :Eeek::Eeek::Rofl1:
