Peterborough Motorhome Show 2014

try ringing them and they may get ya booked in not sure if its to late for online

is it to late to book

Pre booking for the Peterborough show has now closed. You can pay at the gate on arrival, but you will be parked up in General Camping and not with the Funsters. You are of course more than welcome to come over to the Funsters area and partake in the activities.

Brisey.

perhaps oldmanriver can sell you his tickets

its going to be a bit weird, two whole days and nights just the two of us.

Wow havent had that in 16 years
The phrase "if the van's a rocking don't come knocking!" seems appropriate!!!

Houston we have a problem!

We are coming to the show to not only see all you lovely people but to look for a new van. We sold our van today after only advertising it two days ago, which is great, but means we won't have a van to stay in at Peterborough. Not sure a tent in amongst you lot is going to be the answer. We would just be an object of amusement for you all:Sad: especially late at night when you're all hissed :Eek!:

Does anyone know if there is a B&B within walking distance of the show ground?

Sandra,

This one is in Alwalton, the village next to the Showground. >>Orchard House<< and then there is the >>Holiday Inn Express<< at the Showground entrance.

HTH,

Jock.

Thanks for all the suggestions, unfortunately all they are all fully booked. Looks like we will have to come as day visitors

Looks like a fair size tent going up on what I was told is the mhf pitch.

Yes the Funster tent is a good size, I'll be adorning it with banners in an hour or so.

Oi!

just because I spent a lot of time on the water, it doesn't mean that I like camping in the stuff as well....... Maybe I should have a narrow boat as a toad

the said hat will not be returned until the ransom has been paid you will also need some doggie treats as my mutt will not give up his 1st love easily

You shouldn't have sold " Two Wheels Towers"
and the" Tin Shed" at the same time:Rofl1::Rofl1:

You're right Roger, we will be homeless if we don't find a van soon. Mind you I know where there is a very nice park home with no one in it!!

What are the ground conditions like Jim? Firm and flat or soft and sloping?

I can understand your concern Graham, Just wear your We Survived Peterborough 2012 tee shirt. :Rofl1:

We have just about dried out, but still the only ones here in Spain swimming with webbed feet.:Rofl1: Bob.

After 2012 I bought some boots like yours, Bob, and a coat like Munchie's. Never used them yet so don't want to start now.

Pod

hi,
We have booked for Peterborough - can you let us know ow big the pitches are i.e. is it worth bringing the pod/ awning: or are the pitches close to each other?

Plenty of webbed feet around Peterborough .........

As far as pitch separation I think 6 metres and rear offside exactly to the peg - not!

A good question, but I suppose it will be whatever it will be. Hope we have enough room for our 14 man Vango tent plus extension to go alongside the van :Eek!:

You weren't adorning it when I passed through the site.

Might call in again tomorrow, whilst on my rounds.

BTW Jim, absolutely nothing from Warners yet.

Cheers,

Jock.
