Just a quick question, do you need to know what time we might get there on Tuesday Emmit ?

Please arrive after midday.
The journey through the village has a sharp right at the village 'cross' followed by a double blind bend with two 'CL''s on the other side so there is a real chance of meeting car/caravan combo's coming in the opp. direction, leaving the sites before midday.

Lovely swim last night in the Avon ?‍

Yesterday's evening visit to Ekington picnic spot with Jenben, to meet up with a local group of swimmers, who made us very welcome. We had a tough swim up stream for approximately 400 metres before drifting back to the picnic area.

Weather not brilliant today from what I can see from van but this place is so peaceful and spirit lifting.

A friend was a mile or two upstream and saw the alligators in a panic trying to jump the weir......

Did have our wetsuits but the ladies we met were in swimsuits so we thought sod it , think it was about 18 c ?

It’s difficult not to end up swallowing a bit of water Anthea , hoping to avoid any lurgy via copious amounts of cake afterwards

Brilliant rally what more could you want a hour spent with an adorable little girl (Eden) afternoon cream tea then a evening at bike night at the festival just brilliant and a couple of Plum ciders with the lovely garjanco
