Dear Funsters,

Now that we are back home, (lying down in a darkened room) at the end of this rally, Mary and I would like to give a heartfelt thanks to all the attendees at Pershore for your cheerfulness, your Bonhomie, your generosity, and finally your musical talent.

The 'Impromptu' (were we the only ones who didn't know it was going to happen?) final night's campfire singsong was an appropriate finale to a fabulous week.



John and Lisa, the new owners at Avon Bank commented on an almost daily basis re. your approaches to them. I suppose we take it as written that the owners of a site take a full rally field in their stride but we have the biggest rally of their year at Pershore and they commented to me how your friendliness stood out in their dealings with you.

It goes without saying that we have secured the site, not only for next year but for years in the future.
Anyone who has been to Avon Bank knows that this is a special CL.

I came round to invite you all, but the only person there was Malcolm! I think you’de escaped the site for an hour after being tethered to us all week!

So glad you came to our Soirée, and you will be first invited, Guests of Honour next year!

I did indicate some time ago that the Funsters at Pershore excelled themselves at putting their hands in their pockets when it came to raising money for Prostate Cancer UK.

I have just come home to find the below letter waiting for me.
I appreciate that they put two cheques together (one from the Rally, the other from me), when they typed the letter but I can say that your money alone came to £526.

. Well Done!!!

There is another £7.01 courtesy of the Hella Plug donated by SandS and auctioned last week.
