I'm aware of that. Further, if one goes to the Statistics page there is the facility to put in a Funsters name under 'Members'.
That returns, "The requested user could not be found."

I've put a time restriction on the offer of a place and, because of the closeness of the event, I will not be waiting for a protracted period of time.

The Funster in question did send me a message in response to my offer and will be at Pershore.

Our website (as in MHF) is not infallible.

We have a member who, on buying my Hobby, changed his Funster name, all apparently done with Jim approval and sayso to, 'Derek'soldvan' (Without the inverted commas at either end obviously.)

I cannot send that Member a Conversation by the normal means. I've tried and better tried but the system says he's not a Member.
I have resorted to going back to one of our Rallies where I know he made a comment, click on his name and get the Conversation going that way. It's even more galling because the Funster who goes by 'Derek'soldvan' has paid for Life Membership so I know it's not a case of failing to pay Subs.

For those interested in canoeing, kayaking or paddle boarding next week, I have just spoken to Lisa at Avonbanks, she has confirmed that you can launch from the site but with the river being a bit low at the moment it is currently a 4-5 foot drop.
The boat club next door charge £5 to launch from there but she said the better option is to launch from the meadow next door, which is a short walk but is free and there is a launch platform that we can use.

I am guessing this is where Jimbohorlicks meant on post #120

Yes,that where I meant .its only a short walk up the road. There are also places further down the river but a long walk with a board or kayak.but there is a free car park opposite the main Sainsbury/ indoor market car park that is close to the river where there are places to launch.
