About 5k more than my previous diesel but my tax dropped by about 8k and my fuel bills by roughly 2k per annum .
Perhaps electric motorhomes will be okay after all?

The only people I have met who don’t like electric vehicles are those that have never owned one. I haven’t met anyone that would go back to ICE.
My employer does a scheme where you can salary sacrifice for a lease car.
Due to the tax benefits of it, you can have an Audi Etron for £270 a month all in. Electric is £20 a month. With around a 250 mile range, it’s a no brainer!

There is a zero benefit in kind tax on electric vehicles.
Benefit in kind was roughly 27k pa, possibly more and I’m a higher tax payer probably more like 9K tbh
