Perfect 2021 Trip

Not got a van anymore but my dream trip is a quick transition through France next summer and then a nice villa in Costa Brava right next to the beach for a week or three. :xThumb:
Agreed. We like to be near a beach but not spend time ON it. Unless it's like this one in Portugal and they allow dogs!

Had a Vietnam 17 day tour cancelled at beginning of March just as all this kicked off...
Have a trip booked to West Canada, the Rocky Mountaineer and an Alaskan cruise booked for May/Jun next year...
...but I can't see that happening either.
Don't think a sufficient proportion of the population will be vaccinated by then.

So I'd love to do either/both next year
Hi
If your Alaskan cruise doesn't come off --- take a look at the Norwegian mail boat--- hurtigruiten (spelt something like that!!)
If you are old enough you even get a discount!------ you can get on / off at any stop and just pick up next days ship.
It runs every day from Bergen right up the coast stopping ---to deliver mail--- all the way up to close on the Russian border

Netherlands for a long delayed get together with our eldest son’s family.......two young Grandsons that need spoiling....... (y)

Couple of weeks with them, then who knows where. As long as we can travel we’ll make it up as we go along.........and another visit to the Netherlands on the way home.:giggle:

As planned for earlier this year, circular tour down to Croatia and back for 90 days. Once in France nothing booked just follow the bonnet and see what turns up.

Thanks - yes that's a possibility of course.
This was a mega holiday starting in Calgary, touring the Rockies, two days on the Rocky Mountaineer, ending up in Vancouver to catch the cruise to Alaska.
It ticked four off my bucket list.

Nowhere abroad just yet....... had a whole life of almost constant foreign travel. Perhaps explore somewhere where there a few other tourists

We can't get abroad because of caring responsibilitys, but we have not holidayed much in the UK over the years so happy to get away for a proper holiday anywhere, without worrying about cv all the time

Come June I’m off for my annual meander round the alps and into Austria and Slovenia before bagging my beachfront camping spot in Krk, Croatia for a week. Then a meander back on the Romantiche Straße before coming home, 3 weeks in total...lovely👍

Any recommendations for Croatia and Slovenia both on our list for next year?

Sorry, I’ll be learning as I go as it’s the first time over to Croatia and Slovenia in a van, done Slovenia most years on the bike, Croatia only the once, Austria dozens of times😊😊

Cut’n paste from this years abandoned plan.
Chunnel, Belgium, Germany, Poland, swing down through Germany to Luxembourg for a drop of cheap diesel and back to the Chunnel.
As we both still work it will be the usual two week dash.

May sees us off to the Vercors for 3 weeks around the dangerous roads and gorges (15 minutes video watching well wasted.) We have done a number of them but there are a number around here

Late June/July we have 4 weeks and toss up between Austria, Baltic Germany or Languedoc,

September for 4 weeks will one of the 3 above.

I have a little leave left so may be trying a cheeky little fortnight in late March/April and just do Holland/northern France or maybe Alsace/Champagne

Next spring summer a few trips around UK then mid Dec till Mid March birding in Spain between Almeria and Huelva and maybe pop into Portugal to Castro Verde (love it there folk are so nice and a really nice area) 🤞🤞🤞🤞

Sometime in April/May/June a six week(ish) tour down the West Coast of France, through southern France and then back via Central or Eastern France, with no firm plan just meandering.

Then, if all has gone well, CV wise, in September/October a trip through Portugal. We have tried several times to visit Portugal but always got diverted to other interesting places en route.

We would like to see Germany and Austria next year for a month or so. Not sure if it will happen but fingers crossed.

Easy, 7/8 weeks Australia. 6/7 of those in a RV rental, no contest. Done it before, waiting for them to let us in to do it again.

Well I'm a self-confessed Alp-o-holic, don't like the French, think Switzerland is anti anything non-Swiss, so Austria, Italy, Southern Bavaria & Slovenia are my ideal MoHo holiday destinations

So hypothetical question time. So next summer, everything is back to normal, we are all vaccinated and there are no brexit issues. What’s your big trip of 2021 going to be?
See you don't know what you've got

I fancy Somerset 👍👍

And as far as a fifth wheeler.......they mystify me for the UK

I know it's not MoHo related but i have promised HRH a 120 day world cruise for our golden wedding anniversary, i think year after next. been on lots of cruises, she loves em.
