Paul Merton and Suki hitting the roads again.

We watched it, but still find them both annoying as hell, his "comedy" doesn't work in this situation and as her constant laughing, don't ask what I suggested to shut her up!

As for eating the crab, my god 🤬

Did anyone else notice the damage just after the drivers door, right on the edge of Coachbuilt bit.

I started to watch the the episode last night - and we lasted 5 minutes max. Mrs Orion’s question of ‘have you tuned in to CBeebies by mistake?’ seemed to sum up the content quite nicely.

Am watching with complete disdain at this.
It’s all too twee and full of misty eyed whimsy.
Wheres the rain, the mud, the yapping site dogs and kids on bikes, the vested and shorts wearing, crocks n’ socks barbeque’rs et al?
And now they are looking at Caravans!!!
And it’s about time Paul Merton changed his shirt!
She’s had at least 3 outfit changes so far.
And the heater that keeps tripping, the canopy that has to be rewound because the winds got up, and the list goes on, but don’t we all love the motorhoming life?

Am I the only one who actually thinks Suki’s hot, I don’t know what she she’s in him, but each to their own I guess.

I’ll carry on watching it, just so I know what my fellow Funsters are talking about, plus I enjoy the locations as well. You also know when they’re actually filmed driving the van, at around 25mph and a huge queue of traffic behind them. I for one pull over as often as possible to let the traffic past, they’re giving us all a bed name 😇

I thought we finally agreed, last time this programme was discussed, that it was a bit of harmless fun, watching a pleasant couple enjoying a new experience. A programme not to be taken seriously and with the usual fake situations etc. Will it change the way any of us uses our motor home ? Probably not. If you don't want to watch it there's a little button marked 'Off'. Personally, as a loooong time fan of Paul Merton, I enjoy the programme and am happy he's found a lovely lady to share his life after the sadness of losing his previous wife. Happy New Year to all. Gill.

Well said (y)

Ex Eastenders actor Adam Woodyatt likes his motorhome

Paul and Suki did drive into some of the sites on tonight’s programme contrary to an earlier post that intimated someone did it for them.
It’s light hearted entertainment about our hobby which I find amusing , no point in rubbishing it and not changing channel.
This is fun remember x:-)
They might have driven on to the site, as they did at Buxton but they didn’t drive to the site, just got in at the gates and drove onto the site. Yes, it’s fun and we can all get amused by their antics 🤣

So seems to me no one will be watching the rest of the series by most of the comments,so this thread will stop. It’s only a bit of harmless fun that includes motorhomes. And a damn site better than all the reality and soap crap that fills our screens endlessly.

As it’s still Panto season.......,,

Oh No it isn’t...............................
🤪

Most TV is an illusion such as strictly come dancing the pretence is the votes come in and the dance off is the following day, the reality is it’s all done on the same day but I think we are all happy with the illusion the silver screen provides.
On the contrary I am very unhappy that those who make these programs think we are all idiots and swallow their fantasy.

Have you tried Radio.............? 🧐
Yes I do use radio and tv but I am very selective on programs nearly all of my tv I record so I can cut our the crap and I use streaming and podcasts for radio.

I’d like to see them doing the NC500 in its entirety

I do watch these Celebs faking motorhoming series, as a distraction from all the current crises.

My favourite was the Meet the Richardsons episode :

And the missing back lower panel on the offside. It wasn't missing at the beginning.

I know like most TV shows it’s all set up and not a reflection of motor homing however I don’t like Murton in this, he’s a complete twa*.

I watched it. Some nice bits of Cornwall shown. Some elements cringeworthy. Some amusing. Maybe I'm easily pleased but I laughed more than once. The continuity was rather duff, but it is on many other programmes too. Will probably watch the next episode. I like some of the people they meet who are genuine motorhomers/campers. The 'test' bit is excruciating waste of time filler.
I record it. Then it's easy to watch, skipping the ads and the twaddle! ;)

Haven't watched this series yet but if it puts some credulose folk off buying motorhomes then more space for the rest of us :giggler:
I found the last series mildly amusing but not something I could concentrate on for too long.
