Our Scotland adventure begins

I'm a fan of Malibu, cut a fresh pineapple into wedges, pop it in a Ziploc bag with some Malibu and brown sugar for a few hours, sprinkle a bit of cinnamon on it, then pop it on the bbq, delicious with some Kelly's clotted ice cream !
How does the plastic bag taste?

You name it... they left it.. old tents...cans, bottles, burnt grass, any probably stuff you find on a toilet thread.... Absolutely disgusting...
Same happened around here at some of our loveliest beauty spots. Dirty b""""""s

Ya had me until you said the C word I hate it, it tastes of soap. I would love to try this without the cinnamon though (y)

I'm the same with coriander, tastes exactly like soap to me. It's ruined many a good curry for me and they've even started sneaking it into those bags of mixed salad leaves

Was that The Three Lochs Campsite you were staying bill?
Just up the road from there, I have discovered a place called Frugaldom, Its an animal welfare place that's also into environmental stuff, growing herbs & tress etc, & looking for volunteers to stroke & walk the rescue ponies & goats
Its also a Campra Motor Home aire, no facilities, black dump is £5.
I think we may give it try next time we are up there, here's the link below, reviews look good.(y)

Frugaldom is such a great wee gem. Susan and Harvey are so welcoming and the place is amazing for watching the night stars. The ponies are entertainment in themselves and round every corner is an amazing sculpture. Can’t wait to go back ! Most peaceful night sleep ever!

Looking for suggestions nice parking spots on A64 north after Stranraer.

Do you mean A77? There’s a free parking space at Girvan quite near the aire.

If it’s the A77 then there’s a nice stop at Lendalfoot.

Wildbill.. I have wanted to comment on your excellent posts for a while now...but did not feel i was brave enough or it was appropriate, and therefore please please please don't report me to the grammar and spelling polis just yet.
You obviously have a reading and writing issue (maybe dyxlexia) which my nephew also has, and I have to say I have learnt a lot by reading your posts.
Why don't we see it as you do... a word is spelt as you say it..prime example above...sosseg = sausage.
Because of you and your ability to post, regardless of your ( don't know what to call it?) Differences, abilities??? I feel I understand the terrible affliction my nephew has. ( Ah Maybe affliction ??). And his reluctance to communicate by pen or indeed keyboard.
So to you Wildbill a resounding thank you.
Cheers and thank you Bill.
