Number plates with eu sign and uk

You can buy a UK sticker to cover the eu stars bit of the plate, and also put a UK sticker on the van to keep them happy.
They're not EU stars, never have been. We're still a founding member of the Council For Europe which the stars signify.

Now you tell me we could've kept the pretty stars! :crying: I'm gonna go have a big sulk! :worried:

I was in Gibraltar last week well parked outside and walked in we went in twice passports stamped both sides on our second visit passport checked and stamped on the way in on the way out on the Spanish side the customs women had a fit after checking our passports she said this is your second visit I said as you can see by the stamps she replied you are only allowed to visit once a month I she it’s a bit late now and why did your work mate stop us on the way in them she replied that’s the law I said sorry and did not know but now I do thank you she said just go so we did? Has anyone else had this problem?
Possibly confusing your visit with duty free's : If you regularly enter or return to Gibraltar (more than once per calendar month), you are not entitled to duty free imports.

Why would we lose UK? It would just mean the United Kingdom of Wales, Scotland and England, or just England and Wales.
The United in the UK is the union of the kingdom of Great Britain and the kingdom of Ireland (Northern). The union of England and Scotland made the country known as Great Britain.

No, I am at that point correct....if you think the UK is the union of England and Scotland then you are wrong and need to have a read of the original Acts ( English parliament 1706 and Scottish parliament 1707) where in the countries known as England and Scotland ceased to exist and became hence forth known as the country of Great Britain. England and Scotland then becoming regions within that country of Great Britain. Yes regions and no longer countries. Nations possibly but not countries and definitely not States. Ireland on the other hand was a kingdom and 'joined' in Union with Great Britain....hence the United Kingdom. Singular as at the time it had the same monarch for the two kingdoms.

Do you have any links to prove your version of history. I think you will be red faced the further we dig in to it. 😷🥃
Your version is pure cray it’s the united kindom of Scotland and England the Scottish king then ruled England and also Scotland. Ie. The United kindom.
At that time wales was and still is a principality. Northern Ireland didn’t exist then.
The united kindom of 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿And 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Is the united kindom one king both nations. And Scotland and England have never been or are called a region of Britain. Britain the island. We live on. And share borders.

interesting debate guy's got me interested in the history of how it came about. so i trawled and this is what Wikipedia says;

The Acts of Union 1707 declared that the Kingdom of England and Kingdom of Scotland were "United into One Kingdom by the Name of Great Britain".[note 4][40][41] The term "United Kingdom" has occasionally been used as a description for the former kingdom of Great Britain, although its official name from 1707 to 1800 was simply "Great Britain".[42][43][44][45] The Acts of Union 1800 united the kingdom of Great Britain and the kingdom of Ireland in 1801, forming the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland. Following the partition of Ireland and the independence of the Irish Free State in 1922, which left Northern Ireland as the only part of the island of Ireland within the United Kingdom, the name was changed to the "United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland".[46]

And what about Essex ? We are an independent force 😉in the region of East Anglia…..have to say I think the counties flag of three Sea Axes is one of the coolest county flags out there it’s not pompous or pretending to be heraldry.

We just done 6 weeks in France, Spain and Portugal, GB on the number plate, without a UK Sticker and angle morts, no problem. We even had a blow out in Spain, which the Police attended...which is another story!
Honestly, no body cares. Those UK stickers are just plain ugly and I wont be putting one on unless I absolutely have no option.
I was under the impression the Carthago CTourerI150 was plated at 3.5t ?
If so there is no requirement to show angles morts stickers

I can be spec'd at 4250kg, or uprated from 3500kg.

Can be bought at 3500kg but almost impossible to run at 3500kg (legally).

Agreed, even though ours is the smallest A-class they do, possibly the lightest in the whole range of MHs, it would be difficult to run it at 3500kg unless we don't fill the water tank which makes a nonsense of having such a big one.

Must be a lot of checking of the Spanish nationals that go into Gibraltar every day then.

Or has that stopped now 😊
There is but only to ensure they aren't smuggling fags& tobby.
Northern Ireland didn’t exist then.
No it was the whole of Ireland & only changed when partition happened.
