Next 2 days I was running high temp so the Nortrip site we went to is a bit of a blur, was a desolate farm that we took 2 ferries to ( who knew the ferries there only ran every 2 hours and you have to reverse on when they arrive ) answer everyone else in queue for Other Ferries who were snickering at us as we waited. People on farm were lovely but the hard standing was a patch of gravel some way off, farm was full of peacocks, snakes ( caged) and it was all ‘ a bit funny’ as youngest grandson says.
Hot footed off island - shop at the ferry was 24/7 card opening unmanned - very hi tech compared to farm.
Arrived in Etne after a bit more reversing, little campsite on waters edge a bit old fashioned some hook up had 2 pin plugs, but again a jaw dropping drive.
InStavanger we parked in a car park and walked into town where there was an unexpected flotilla of steam boats in the harbour and a lot of 1920s cars .Found a street with hippy-type cafes and shops- very different , then a car park in Øldberg for the night
