NHS App can't show proof of booster jab for covid pass.

Fabulous! Have to say I was very sceptical about this being sorted before Christmas. One less thing to worry about before setting off for Spain.

Doomsters and BBC foiled again. Boris said it would be sorted and it was and the NHS has delivered yet again!(y) Fabulous as you say.

I’ve posted on another thread about this as well but the problem we have is just having the one mobile phone between us. The NHS app shows all my vaccinations and boosters and in spite of my husband being linked to this account so I have access to all his medical records it will not show his Covid passes or records. I have been on the help section of the app and it says it does not support this. Why!?? Surely it can’t be a confidentiality issue as everything else is available. So it means having to have paper copies for him and app for me.

We both share the same email address but the App needs a different email for each person. No need to get another phone just get yourself another email address for the other person. Willing to be corrected but that's what we did and no problem.

Thanks dash300 will try that as we do have an extra email address we don’t use much. Did start to register him on iPad but then realised that would just be too much hassle to have to take with us.

The booster jab will show on the NHS app from next week.

dash300 brilliant thanks. Now have access to both. The problem was that I had face recognition set up to access the app so it would only let me enter this. Turned that off. It does mean that to access either I need to enter e mail and password but well worth it. Simple in the end but needed some help first. Appreciate your advice.

Hi there. :)

Why don't you and your husband both register for the NHS App, using different email addresses, but the same password?
We do this, on the basis that if one of us is ever incapacitated for some reason, then the other has access to important medical details of their spouse/partner.

Cheers,

Jock. :)

JockandRita. Thanks I hadn’t thought about using same password. Just so pleased I now had a solution. I am afraid my husband is a total technophobe and would know how to access the app let alone enter password so I have to do both. Hence the original linking of accounts. Really pleased though with the help on this as it will make life so much easier for me when we get away.

Re the other thread and my reply, the two email addresses is the way we have it set-up. I've no problem with the number of email addresses, I've got almost an unlimited number via my own domain name etc.

Mag, sorry, I wasn't aware that was possible, until you highlighted it above.
Best wishes with the way forward that suits you both. (y)

Cheers,

Jock. :)

Go to NHS app and then your health records and then immunisations. You do need to make sure you have access, so may need to go to the surgery to arrange this.
That is not accepted internationally because it must have a QR code. Buy happy news. Our government has finally fixed it and all three innoculations appear now with QR code. We are preparing for a trip leaving three weeks today, so I have just scanned our QR codes into the French anticovid app which is recognised throughout the EU, and much easier to use that our app.

Yes good that the Booster vaccinations now added to the NHS app. Makes life easier and like you I add them to the French anti covid app.

Jim isn’t it time the thread name for this was amended?

No Idea, I have only read ten words of the whole thread. Those you just wrote. :D
7 pages and the thread name is no longer relevant, still gives folks something to read 😉
