Rally 'Music & Mechanicals' meet 1st - 4th July 2016 - Bubble Car Museum, Nr Langrick, South Lincs

Right, I'm on site. All is good.

I have 5 out of 5 bars of Three 3G data. Ok, I've got an external antenna, but you all should get something usable.
I have 2 out of 4 bars of Vodafone phone signal.

90% of the site is dry & firm. We don't need the other 10% that isn't. I know where the wet patches are & one of them is near the entrance, so do not drive onto the grass without checking in first. I will then direct you. Come in through the site entrance & drive down the road. At the end, turn left. At the end again, you will find yourself beside the helipad. Stop there. My van is the dark red one.

I don't think that anybody needs hard standing, but if anybody wants it, it is available. It will leave you a little isolated from the rest of us, but the choice is there.

There is EHU for those that need it. @Wildge your splitter may come in handy.

There is a WC. It is best described as basic, so I think most people will use their own facilities. There is a fresh water tap & a chemical toilet disposal point.

Sorted. (y)

We are more than half way now I think.:D Parked up at a brit stop abdominal having pub dinner in Rotherham. Nice pub .

@TheCaller. Thanks Simon & Jane. :)

We're only an hour away, and will see you tomorrow morning before midday. (y) We also have a splitter if needed. ;)

Cheers for now,

Jock & Rita. :)

After a brief & worrying period when I had no internet at all, I now have 4 out of 5 bars of Three 4G data.

Someone must have told them the Funsters were coming & they've done us an upgrade. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Problem is, the temptation is to use it & with 4G being faster than being at home, the data just seems to disappear. Soon gets a tad expensive. :(

I'm hoping that I'll be too busy enjoying the company and impromptu musical sessions, to even bother with getting online. (y)

Cheers,

Jock.

Yes but I'm here on my own tonight with just the wife to talk to.

Are you saying that after all these years Simon, the novelty of conversation with one's loved one, has finally worn off? ;)

See you both tomorrow. (y)

Jock. ;)

Morning all. Lovely sunny day here at the moment, with a gentle southwesterly breeze drying off last night's bit of drizzle.

The water tap here was obviously designed with tuggers & aquarolls in mind & isn't the easiest to get close to if you have a large m/h & a short hose. So if you have the option to arrive full, I would do so.

I have a 10lt watering can on free loan to anyone who is struggling!

We need to use it. After our mirning showers we are empty. In hindsight with tge fiwnpour while walking the dig I should just have taken a bar of soap out with me.
We have a long hose do hopefully will be ok.

No worries if you have a long hose. You may find there are others who would like to borrow it!

I washed a caravan in a thunderstorm once, wearing just a pair of boxer shorts. Needless to say, this wasn't on a CC site!

Glad it's dry, really changeable here this morning but warm already:confused:

We have a watering can available as well

.......just kicking our heels for 10 mins ....till the school run around the corner settles:)

Scratch that - just found another tap, with long hose attached & on the hard standing. Fine if you are not bothered about food grade hose. If you are, stick to plan A.

I have to say, all the airfield people I have met so far are really enthusiastic about us being here. As is the local postman, who may drop in for a listen later on.

Morning all rained hard this morning on the school run! But sunny now and dry!! Van full ready not sure what to do about water but read second post so may fill up there!
See you later ( not to late I hope!!):sun::hugs::drinks:

I can categorically state, that you will definitely see more of me, than Downtown will.

Cheers,

Jock. :)
Jock's here. Rita too, despite fears that Jock might be alone.

Guess where they've just gone!! :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
