App loaded easily and subscription all ok, mag took a little time to download but that's my old iPad.
 
cant enter competion on web page one and ive downloaded the app and it wants a subscription
buggered if im paying another £10 to subscribe i assume ive missed the freeby

Its always going to be free to Funsters, Now you have it installed, try clicking on the link in the first post now.

Followed your distrustions eventually downloaded app, but then Mick opened App Store n they have stated that we have purchased it for 99p for initial issue then £10.99 thereafter is that correct, help!!!

No one needs to buy it. Contact them for a refund. The link above give you a free subscription (y)
 
Jim i am still having issues with the app.

It’s probably something I have done.

It doesn’t matter but will you be putting a link on here like in the OP so we can read subsequent issues of the magazine without going via the app?

Yes it’s Ipad.

I downloaded the app no problem yesterday.

Then today I looked at your OP and clicked on the link to subscribe which was successful. I think it then takes you to the app but at that point the app just freezes.

I can’t do a screenshot because I don’t know how to on my new iPad which doesn’t have a home button.

subscription unsuccesffully unlocked i think its taken 99p for the download and will not unlopck without the balabce
 
Working fine on my iPad Jim (y)

I scanned the QR code and to start with it took me to the wrong App but I hit the back button and clicked on the found link instead and it went to the correct App perfectly

Subscription also worked straight away for me.

Now sitting down to read it, 1/2 way through at the moment and enjoying it so far

Loved the little comment about keeping the 1st issue safe as it might become valuable in the future... :ROFLMAO:
 
Tried yesterday, It Looked as though it was happening, it then took me to the list of different forums. 4times, what am I doing wrong? On iPad and Xs iPhone. Seems to have an app but asking for 99p
 
Please don’t pay for the app. Delete the app from your phone or tablet. Turn it off then on ie reboot. (Don’t miss this step). Then click on the link in the first post and get a permanent free subscription yy

Have you used the link from this thread or did you just find the App in the store?

My iPad I used the QR code from this thread and it worked fine, my iPhone downloaded the App automatically since I had it on the iPad and when opened, that asked me to subscribe, I just deleted it from the phone and then re-installed it using the QR code again, subscription then worked straight away

Don’t search for the app in the App Store/Play Store; we do that for you. Delete the app. Reboot your machine ( turn it off then on again ). DON’T MISS THIS STEP. Then use the link in the first post (y)
 
All downloaded on my iPhone and iPad, it looks great.

I did use the link in this thread. I will give the delete app etc and see how I get on. I’m clearly missing out something.

Am I doing something wrong g ?

I have added the links to the desktop version now, so you can click through to enter the competition (y)
 
The Android phone took three attempts yesterday, before being successful in downloading the App. However, despite following your advice above e rebooting Jim, and after almost ten attempts, nothing I do gets me the App on my Android tablet. I just keep getting.......................

I have tried everything above but still no joy.
I’m on an iPad running version 11.2.5 (I know it’s old ?) and don’t have the Request Desktop Website setting.
Can you help? Seems like I’m missing out on a good thing ?
 
Thank you Jim .enjoyed reading it, was just thinking that the only thing it needed was page numbers and hey presto there they were but I haven't a clue how I got the preview pages with numbers along the bottom of the screen and couldn't replicate when I went back to finish reading the excellent magazine, can anyone tell me how to show that.
