MotorhomeFun Magazine

Very fast download on my android, Thanks Jim will read properly later.

Got it up and running now, ad blocker was the problem even when switching off and re booting. It was blocking the automatic subscription. Running Android on Samsung tablet.

My Kindle Fire didn't want to find the app. No surprise there! But I just opened this forum post, clicked the laptop link and up came the mag. Bookmarked it so I can read it via Bookmarks.

BTW, I'm no expert, as portrayed in the magazine..

Great work Jim. I look forward to using the App when we can get past the initial error for some Android users. (y)

Cheers,

Jock. :)

Sorry about using that photo again jock, but it does demonstrate the perfect dump stance that newbies need to learn . '\

Just read the PC version....excellent read. Thanks Jim and contributors.

Very impressed and professionally done. Thanks to all in getting off the ground.
The article relating to buying at shows reminds me of the last Lincoln show where we did not go ahead with a purchase and still looking.

When i click the link for the free subscription in your first post I get a blank page...
bit.ly appears in the address bar but page remains blank

Jim, I just want to say thank you for a brilliant magazine. The quality and variety of content is excellent and demonstrates the efforts put in. In the future, I would appreciate an article on the benefits of Wi-fi extenders and Mifi units for Motorhomes. We are newbies and want to install something to improve our communications. We already use Vodafone (unlimited data) in my mobile but of course need to improve signal and use it as a hub.
Thanks again,
David (Skipper)

Point to remember, peeps, is that Jim doesn't write the articles. Everything - well almost everything - in the e-mag is contributed (my joint offering is in next months issue) so if you have anything you feel may be of interest get it to Jim asap - if he thinks it's any good he'll (probably) put it in. I mention this because, as requested above, there are lots of interesting subjects about and folk want to know, so if you have any expertise and a modicum of ability to put together an article, have a go!

But also remember if you've a burning question, you can search or post a question in open forum.

I can't read stuff on mobiles, too small but an excellent read on the web. Having just built a website (of sorts) for a campaign group I appreciate how much work has gone into this. Well done Jim, informative, interesting and far better than anything I remember from the club mags. Stories on European battlefield tours might be a good read?

(y) top stuff.
Found helpful things discussed in the 1st half that I hadn't found in the forum - because the magazine is concise & in one area.
And lots of varied topics.
I'm reading the pdf so I've not got working links but I have apple devices so that's fixable.
I guess the magazine is made & then exported to pdf?
EDIT: needed a proof read....

I wrote half of this months articles, If there is no name next to them then they are mine. You’ll probably recognise them by the typos. But I won’t be able to keep that up. So Funster input will be paramount for future editions (y)

Took a ten minute coffee break from decorating to have a quick look, love it! The articles on Brittany and Normandy are as if someone was following me or I was following them. Great job by all concerned in the project?. This is the club that just keeps giving!

I had that too on the stock Samsung browser but when I switched to Firefox the link worked fine [Android 9]

FYI Jim the App works on my Chromebook [Chrome OS], especially fine in "tablet mode".

Cheers

loaded it on my samsung tablet but it wants me to subscribe.
I followed link from site ?

I must say the mag was a far more enjoyable read than just about every other motorhome related tome available...
I actually read it cover to cover ..Unheard for lesser mags !

Thank you Jim

Thanks Jim - the launch issue surpassed my wildest expectations. Very professional and covers topics where other mags fear to tread (excellent USP). Congrats on your hard work to get this project up and running.

Initially had an issue with the link on my android tablet but it eventually worked (Sunday evening) with no alteration to settings.
