Motorhome Values post Lockdown

What you picked up on the planes,,was recirculated via the air-con system !! A sneeze at the front ,becomes an ingested germ at the back etc .Same in ANY building with 'air-con',Not used planes since the Eighties !! With a motorhome ,you are in your own space ,in your own time, with all your personal hygienic requirements about you.We gave up on hotels too !!
Actually thats not quite correct regarding the air recycling on aircraft.
When this covid stuff started at the beginning of the year pilots were instructed to keep the system running on full all the time, as they are fitted with the HEPA filters which are very good at filtering out the bugs and diseases. They used to turn them off to save fuel when trundling round the airports.

I read in the MMM mag yesterday that Dethleffs are hoping to resume production mid April. What do they know we don't?
Hymer reported they started building again this week.
Just been on the phone to our dealer to check what to do about warranty stuff etc and he said whilst they are not doing anything other than a bit of working from home Carthago are still producing motorhomes and haven't stopped at all as they are still in high demand.

One things for certain...all this talk of falling values and general doom and gloom will be seized upon by dealers when they are making a generous offer to take it off your hands...
Yes but when they come to sell your Motorhome that they gave you peanuts, it won’t be a case of, “well you see nobody wants them mate” it’ll be more a case of “we can’t get enough Motorhomes to sell, they’re literally flying off the forecourt” salesmen have always got one line of speech for taking a van off you and a totally opposite line when they are trying to sell you one, vultures.
