Motorcycle Porn.....Readers Rides

A lot of it can be down to positioning. You do realise however the extent to which you take power/grunt for granted on your normal ride. It is definitely different.

Positioned exactly where I’d place any of my big bikes, they still ‘see‘ you and pull out anyway cause it’s only a scooter. Similarly they still try to squeeze past to overtake where they wouldn’t attempt to pass a real bike.

B*ggers eh!

Last two bikes were the Honda Rune and Triumph Rocket.

I bought this a few years ago to get around on, on a trip to the IOM, It was like riding a push bike, so light and whisper quiet. I sold it as soon as I returned, but was actually ok......flat as, but ok.

Does anyone know what it is? (The make and model are on the side...if you can read it ?)

And didn’t need to enlarge photo, I always thought the looked useful and similar in design to the Yamaha Tricker
To be honest the image is so poor resolution enlarging it doesn’t really work.

I think it was copied from the Tricker to be fair. The 125cc ones actually used a Yamaha engine, but I believe all the 250cc ones were just copied from Yamaha.

When I stumbled across it I thought it was a disposable Chinese bike....not realising they are in fact Spanish and a relatively respectable brand In Spain. I don’t know, all I can say in the short time I owned it, it was fun, light and reliable....just underpowered.??

Even had a detachable useful soft luggage bag too.....great for collecting essential supplies on the trip.?

One of the many motorbikes I have built over the years. Notice I also converted it to an early mono shock with a YPVS shocker. Seat, tank and fairing came from Steve Wynn at Sports Motorcycles - just after he'd built that bike for Hailwood. It was still there, stood in his shop. The wheels were from our local wheel builder Tony Dawson.

Still need to sort out something to carry in the garage, or maybe settle for a trailer instead?

OK OK no need to rub it in ?

I'm still happy to live in this stunningly beautiful principality ?
Which is where I would prefer to be riding as well as it happens.
Hopefully won't be long now.
