motorhome turning over but won’t start, immobiliser light on.15 year old Bursner with Fiat Ducati cab

We had this with our 2007 Bessacarr - the problem was to do with the central locking button on the dashboard and was resolved by switching it on and off several times.

Eddie doesn't want to offer a solution to a criminal? Just trying to check You actually own the problem vehicle?

He helped me on a 1999 2.5tdi some years ago.

I can help too for Funsters if local (Peterborough). It is an easy process but fiddly !
Just a small point; not decrying, in anyway, anyone’s offers of help, but a V5 is not proof of ownership. It identifies the registered keeper and hence person responsible for taxing and ensuring an up to date MOT.
Just saying…….

I have sent email with v5 to info@vanbitz.com Thanks again
More info on the sigma alarm. The immobiliser when working properly, cut the starter motor. It now allows allows starter motor to work. It did fire up once and everything good for a couple of mins but then while engine was running it operated the starter motor so I turned it off. It started once more but engine management warning light and other warning lights came on and after a while engine stopped.

It was sufficient rather than publishing it on line.

The "fix" takes at least half an hour, more like two if you want to be careful. Not exactly a secret that helps thieves. I know as I have done it. Might even have the original file from Eddie saved somewhere. If you have the cash then a replacement fuel pump MINUS the immobiliser module is a lot easier.

Earlier models had a set of fuses in the dash pocket drivers side one of those fuses controls the immobilisers

With all due respect, without some sort of history (like a year of membership of this site and a V5 that can be verified, and attendance of at least one rally) so that people actually know who you are, no one is going to be sending you details of how to hack a factory fitted immobiliser!

If anyone does have this crib sheet I would be grateful for a copy. Very occasionally my immobiliser plays up and I have a feeling he will let me down at the worst moment.

I am very happy to send a copy of the V5 to anyone who can help?

Fortunately I don't have a problem 'yet' but would much appreciate a copy :)

Eddie has said repeatedly he no longer has access to his files after retirement.
Others may have a copy, but as you're a new member, they may not be comfortable giving instructions on how to hack a factory fitted immobilizer ?

1999 Ducato - not sure how different to your system.
Immobiliser goes senile and the only cure is new fuel pump without the immobiliser circuit or bypass the immobiliser in engine compartment. Done it myself and know many others have too.
Don't know if it helps but message me for more info.

The offending parts - one in front of right knee inside dash and the other normally attached to fuel pump.
KEYCODE light on dash coming on whilst driving was first sign things were breaking down.

Hi.... See your Direct Messages.

The method I describe is surgical removal of one of the immobiliser boxes. The one in the engine next to your diesel fuel pump.

Before you do this you can try a new aerial around your ignition barrel.
And do you have Red and Black keys for ignition? The Red key shouldn't be used every day and is a master key that can reprogram Black keys.
