Morocco 2015

Been blowing hard at Meknes this afternoon and just started pissing down. Shame I didn't get out earlier with the sponge and soapy water.
If it rains hard enough and long enough to clean the van there's going to be a big pile of sand underneath!

We were sat outside the van late afternoon drinking a cup of tea when a Motorhome pulled in to the guardian parking. Chap got out and started an argument with the Guardien and after a few minutes got back in his van and drove off.
Guardian came over to tell us that the gentleman refused to pay 10dh for 4 hours parking as it was "too much"
Bet you can guess the nationality of said gentleman.
Biafran maybe!

No more comments on the draught Bass again! Usually say the wrong thing at the wrong time when drinking good bitter, love you all and hope your having a great time. see you all soon I hope.

Is sunny at markech but it is a cool wind blowing from the west again

Just been talking to two older French people, a man and a woman. They are travelling in their own separate Toyota Land Cruisers and have been all over Africa in previous years. They have visited Algeria and Mali to mention a couple, and are staying at the Auberge for a de-coke we think - showers and laundry.

The guy speaks very good English he's 76 years old and looks as fit as a butchers dog. He used to be a skater and worked on the Holiday on Ice TV programme, knows Torville & Dean, Robin Cousins etc. Unfortunately his faithful companion dog died two days ago and he had to bury him.

We are joining them for dejeuner in the restaurant ce soir, so are anticipating more captivating stories from them.

Was speaking to these 3 Moroccans by the vans yesterday one of them spoke very good English with abit of a northern twang :)
