Morrocan Tour

Hello You guys. So sorry to hear about Dave's troubles. We badly wanted to come, but I am under the knife in dear old New Cross Hospital Wolverhampton on Thursday. Well done Tonka for picking up the baton, helping to keep the tour on the road. Chris and I know you will all have a great time and our thoughts are with you all. Have a great holiday, we hope to be in Portugal in March and maybe catch up with you.Happy New Year have a great trip. Take care. John/Chris.

Hi Sue

The cordinates for the correct Lidl are 36.18136w 5.43977n it is across the road from Carrefour, if you google those cordinates it shows you street names, dead easy :RollEyes:

Exit 112 off the motorway, back of Carrefour and close to Leroy Merlin. So will be lots of big signs for that !!!:Wink:

There are 12 vans, 2 of these are 50/50 as awaiting outcome on various matters.

I understand Suggy and The only sue are meeting tomorrow (Friday) at Calais and heading to Spain for a Boozy new year... Safe trip both.....

Tonka, Sue and gang, please keep us posted on here on how you get on a lot of us have followed this journey from conception and though we are not traveling with you this time, you will be in our thoughts, have a true fun adventure, and hope in time Dave will maybe catch up with you.

I find it amazing the way fun works don't know how (well Jim has a lot to do with it:notworthy:) but when things happen unexpectedly everyone pulls together and makes it work.

Hi guys just got the messages and read about Snowbird, so sorry fella hope things work out ok.
I had to fly back to the UK as I also had bad news my uncle died about 2 weeks before Christmas, I will be flying back to Spain on New Years Eve and am still planing to go to Morocco. Have not got much internet conection as olds moved house and no tel line sorted just yet so only get internet at my mates house.

will see you all at lidls on the 15th ish unless anyone pops into Cabopino.

Well.. as long as autotrail sort my van out..!!!
The damp reading around my heki skylight is now a Leak !!

I will be at the Lidl carpark as already advised on the 15th January..
Buy tickets, stay there overnight and get ferry morning of the 16th..

Will be passing via Benidorm on 12 / 13th and staying at Villasol for 2 nights...

Things are all still as planned, as yet..
I have had an addition, MrMotorhome is scheduled to join us, currently they are in Benidorm.

Personally, I am off to camp at Autotrail tonight to get my heki skylight re-sealed (leaking) and a damp area checked out. Then it's van packing time and me and Polar bear will be at Calais for next Wedneday morning to start our trip down. With a weekend stop at Benidorm on route.

Tuesday 15th Jan. Lidl Algeciras.... Be there..:thumb:

There are still about 12 vans going....

Got the van out of storage today.
We'll be packing it and getting ready for departure - ferry from Portsmouth to Bilbao on Tuesday at 16:00
