More money than sense, or impulse buyers...

Bought a Rapido A class in 2009 on a Mercedes , as self employed kept looking out the Lounge window thinking we were not using it much, sold it 2012, worst decision we have made , ordered. Auto-Sleeper on a Fiat this year About £20k + more than Rapido, you have to love motorhoming to own one as I reckon every 2 weeks away on holiday cost probably £1000 or Two in depreciation 😂

……or repairs.😂

"O" like every other Motorhome the Rapido wasn't faultless, in my opinion none of them are faultless although I do read on here " never had a problem" I've took motorhomes to bits, and can't believe the build quality is , no where near car build quality , but I still buy a new one now and then 🥴

I moved home recently. I also transferred a lot of the "stuff" I'd accumulated over the decades from my garage (workshop?).
It was wonderful re-acquainting myself with items I did not know i had. Not only that, my new home needed a bit of work - as you do - and a few of these things that had been gathering dust suddenly found a use!
So my advice is - wait till you move home before throwing anything out - you will then know what to do.

Down sized bungalow,We did as you said, kept stuff, had a new Workshop built 7.4 X 4 metres, having a job to get in it as full of "useful " stuff , I think !!

I did that a few years ago, before, I knew roughly which pile/room contained what I was looking for but now, not an inkling:crying:

Think carefully before anyone takes this advice especially if, like me, you have a whole house full of 'useful items'

Hi all,

I am looking to travel into some of the mountainous regions in France this December which means I will have to acquire snow chains for my motorhome. Size 215/70R15C. I see on the thread that there are a few potentially available so I thought I would enquire before doing the Amazon shop!

Regards Richard

Wonderful PRC , we’re propping up their GDP

Genuine tip. Get decent shelves in your shed. It means that you feel better about hoarding your crap, because you can pretend it is organised when she asks.
I have dexion shelving so much stuff still a problem finding stuff, hopefully whe New Motorhome arrives I did say when! We can declutter workshop, then probably clutter up Motorhome 🥴

I got a shelf full of rusting steel bar knowing if I need a peice of metal for something it will turn up as good as new in the lathe. Also got lengths of odd size timber in case I need a bit of wood. I look at them and think of how much it would cost if I needed some now . Sad.

I have boxes of bits and pieces most used but I guess the kids will dispose of when I pop off, 12v macerator and flat hoses , anti flappers for awning and other bits from RV days as well as numerous hand and power tools . Then all the fantastic gizmos used once and forgotten , I think I must have kept at least one gent from PRC employed :giggler:
I'm looking for a macerator to pump uphill. PM me the dets if you're selling thanks.

I have friends around tomorrow but will get it out in the next couple of days and PM a photo .

PS if you don’t hear from me by middle of week please jog my memory by PM, marbles are going
