I guess I should have know better. Motorhome generation is of a certain age and they are true to their beliefs. With no questions just follow their told truths…
I’m going to be hated for my opinions but Hayho. All I’m saying is can you honestly say you have researched your opinions or just go along with what you have been told since childhood?
What proof can you say what you say? I can’t either but at least I look at both sides of the coin.
Now can I get a few shots of the moon with timelines ?

But I have conclusive proof the earth isn't flat. If it was flat, cats would have pushed everything off the edge by now.

I love it when flat earthers do experiments to prove the earth is flat and prove the exact opposite.

If you want proof the earth is a globe not flat. The best experiment is.
Start from the north pole.
Travel due south until you reach the equator.
Turn left by 90° and then travel a random distance.
Then turn left by 90° again.

If you are on a globe you will end up back at the north pole. You cannot put two left 90° turns and end up back where you started and form a triangle if the earth was flat.

But what about conclusive proof from NASA with clips of so called space men with tangled wires and objects that are not really there but they pretend they are. it’s all out then if you do your research.

Well would you like to come and meet my friends from the British Antarctic Survey team? They've been surveying and exploring Antarctica for decades. 24 hour sunshine currently which would be impossible on your flat earth. Same happens in the Arctic circle and I've been to Northern Finland to see the sun at midnight. You have absolutely no explanation of this on any flat earth model.

Perhaps you should start following your own advice, as that advice is actually good advice. You clearly believe everything that is false as you do not have enough in you to accept things exist without seeing them first hand. You see proof that you know no-one here can provide, so best start saving hard to book a seat on one of the early tourist flights to the moon. I guess that we should be grateful that we have a real live, current day 'Doubting Thomas' in our midst? Personally I would rather use my reasonable knowledge of physics to explain our physical world and beyond. I have changed my views on many things as I have gone through life and my belief system has been challenged.

For what it's worth, I think I have used YouTube no more than a dozen times ever. I took take my information from many other different sources, and if possible and practical, validate it against another source rather than blithely following beliefs I have only heard about on the internet but that have convinced me with zero validated evidence that it shows someone else is cheating, lying, abusing children, etc. as for powerful men abusing women, sadly that's also gone on sine at least Roman times. The one of the worst, almost by his own admission, is currently resident in the White House. What does that say about the average males attitude to sex in the USA?

As already said, you can believe whatever tosh you like, but just don't expect us to give your views any credence.

I, and many others clearly cannot see what you are trying to achieve in getting photos of the moon with timeline. It's size, distance from the earth, and orbit are all very well known and have been improving in accuracy since Gallilao long before photography was dreamt of. As for photos of the moon with 'timelines', your understanding of that concept is clearly very different from it's scientific, engineering or mathematical meaning.

There's loads of moon pictures on here taken from the UK.

If you want pictures taken from Australia, then go and find an Australian forum and ask them.

Yes with a vertical raster unlike TV,'s of the day that had horizontal raster. I think at the time mainstream US TV was being broadcast with something like 325 lines whereas we had just launched BBC2 on 625 giving a vastly improved picture compared with the previous mono 405.

I was at EMI soon after BBC2 launch. They had developed the first single gun colour camera and were party to the PAL colour transmission protocol. The Stares had colour years before at very low definition and using the NTSC protocol. I can't remember what it actually stood for but was always known as Never Twice the Same Colour.

I remember having some Americans visit who were astounded by the difference in both picture quality and colour resolution.

The Soviets had a 1000line raster.

Ancient mariners from before Jonah's time have known the earth was round from the simple fact that, as you approach a land mass, or another vessel, the first thing you see are the tops of mountains/hills or the uppermost sails or top of a funnel, then, as you get nearer, you start to see the lower slopes or the wheelhouse/bridge etc.
If the earth was flat, you would see the object in it's entirety, just a lot smaller because it is off in the distance.
I worked with a lad who was convinced the earth was flat, his standard reply was "But that's what they want you to think" funnily enough, he could never tell me who "they"were though ?

Two people at exact opposite points of the earth could probably still see the moon low on the horizon because of the diffractive effect of our atmosphere, added to the now proven effect that the gravity of large bodies bends beams of light.

Of course there is. When the main on is between us and the sun in an eclipse, the other side of it will be in full sun, so the dark side is the bit we see.

I didn't even dare try to explain the sun. However, it is fairly obvious as our atmosphere is all gas yet doesn't escape. Beyond some people's comprehension because they can't see it for themselves.
