Great photo, I know Venus is a planet but apparently the crescent and star symbol originated in the Greek colony of Byzantium around 300BC. Not a lot of people know that.

Please google a picture taken from space of a full earth that is not CGI. Please explain why the president of america received a call from the moon on a land line phone. Please explain why i can't call the wife 2 miles down the road without interference ? please explain why they have not gone back ever since ? they say the paperwork was lost.......haha. please explain why a rocket moves in a curve rather than straight up? And then why Neil what's his name admitted all bull sh@@?

No Problem really, its just one morning last week when we had a clear sky for once (no chem trails the day before obviously) we had a moon visible this would have been around 11-1130 am. It was out in our sky till at least 630 am the next day when I went to work so that's a minimum of about 19hrs which then brings me to my question of, did Australia not get a moon that day/night?

It wouldn't have been visible all day.

The earth rotates, so should only have been visible for just over half the day.

That 19 hours, the moon would have gone behind us for 12 of them (actually, the moon didn't move much, but we rotated round so that we couldn't see it for 12 hours).

Australia would have seen the same moon.

But as Australia is more or less on the opposite side of the Earth, (as well as being down the bottom) , it usually sees the moon when we can't see it.

Because they are looking at a different angle, (yes, they are upside down compared to how we see things in space) then the crescent is turned the other way up. They are just looking at it upside down.

It can't have been.

Not all day and all night!

12 and a half hours maximum!!

I'm sure someone else would have spotted it otherwise.

And all of the world's tides would have been completely messed up.

Anyway, your second question, yes it is possible. Australia isn't all completely opposite us. It would be possible for someone in the UK (Perth in Scotland, say) to see the moon rising, and someone in Perth, Western Australia to see it setting at the exact same time.

another fact as you bring tides into the equation. Water always finds a level it does not curve and it does not run uphill, Amazon river follows the curve of the earth but somehow flows the other way.

In answer to your question about photos of the Earth, as the Earth is flat, it would just look like a thin line from the Moon obviously
