No it's an old project 2000 step and I had one on my last mobilvetta which was also temperamental. I'm not sure if it's just a worn motor or down to voltage drop etc . It seems to work OK if I take of the second step but as soon as I refitt thst it struggles then stops ..

I use this stuff. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/25339006...pid=5339023013&customid=&toolid=10001&mkevt=1 Nice underfoot, easily cleaned, soaks up water off wet feet. It's often available pre-owned in various grades. Dirt cheap and worn parts can be cut off.
