A few reasons

When I first bought it i had different plans , it was meant to be just a year travel exploring Spain and the canaries. In the end I never made the canaries but I found the van too low on the rear and wasn't keen on the tag. Plus it was the most money I'd ever spent on a vehicle £40k and at that time it was half the money I had to my name. So I used it the one year and sold it afterwards and downsized to the hymer.

The inside was lovely . Always loved the rear bedroom and closed off bathroom. Same idea as the neismann has . Very similar layout tbh honest but with the bar seat and no drop down bed

That's one of the reason's I want another van lol. Zero privacy in this van

And the bathroom is at the opposite end to the bed . If I get up through the night for the toilet it's a cross between running the gauntlet and an obstacle course lol

I'm surprised you didn't hear the rear bed constantly banging everytime one of you moved then . Mine was on 4 vertical runners and moved about. Was a right pain

The rear bed is fixed.

That's what I said. Mine wasn't. You could lower it to French bed height when the scooter was out the garage then raise it up when the bike was in . Electrically operated. Great idea but the whole bed was attached by 4 brackets on threaded spindles... it moved everytime I did and there was a 2 inch gap all around it.

Too low at the rear was the biggest problem .


I've had 3 tags that length ... but a single axle can be parked over a verge whatever the length. Tags stick out too far

Oh and I found a similar neismann on mobile.de , a year newer but 4 times the mileage and not as nice inside.

It has the 3.0l engine in it but a lot dearer

To be honest at the minute I've no idea what the electrics are in the neismann... neither does the seller. So it may already have solar. He says it has a built in generator, and there's mention of an underslung lpg tank yet he thinks it has bottles. So who knows it might have an onboard lpg generator for all I know. I would like to have it set up so I don't need hookup like I have with this one but I wouldn't be doing it this year.

Need to wait till I view it to see exactly what's there.
