Had the best undisturbed sleep I've had in ages last night... helped by the much cooler temperatures. Think it was 18° last night ...perfect . It was around 30° yesterday when we had our walk along the river so still high daytime temps I think it's to get up to 26/28 today but 18 again overnight . That's more my comfort range . Sod this 25° overnight nonsense. So I went to bed around midnight and slept till 08.30 today .

I've had 2 long spells of rain over the last couple of days and it's forecast for tomorrow again. I'm not complaining at the minute as not seen it in months and it was needed. But I've no doubt I'll get sick of it again real soon lol.

There were plenty of them further south ..not seen any In the North but no I want actual oranges . I've eaten 3 oranges after my dinner every day for the last 6 years lol. I've completely ran out and not a single orange in lidl .. and of course I'm now In the mountains so only wee villages around so I've not seen any fruit sellers yet.

And what's with the nae lentils lol

I make a cracking lentil and vegetable curry but it's not a Dahl. In fact it's much the same recipe I use for soup just thicker and with curry spices

It's so easy and tasty

But obviously not popular in Italy as can't get any lentils , in Greece only small packets, Turkey huge packets , UK huge packets .

Also can't get diet juice in Italy...well in lidl anyway its full fat or nowt .

One of my favourite soups.

Mine too although I make lentil and vegetable. Sometimes spicy sometimes not. Its an easy soup to make and one pot does 6 meals .
