Yes but very much weather dependent. At least the pub is nearby Sunshine has been ordered.

Not at all Sandra. We can have fun no matter what the weather. There is the pub and a tea room as well as our vans!

Hi All

Millport rally is getting closer and you are all getting excited hopefully, I have been looking forward to this for a long time now and I even went out and spent a small fortune on a folding sea kayak just for the occasion BUT and that is a very big BUT being realistic I have to say that we are not going to make it as Jens mum is still in hospital and we seem to be doing the lions share of the family visiting, so Sandra @irnbru I will officially declare us "out".

And to everybody else I have booked and paid for an afternoon kayaking, it will be great if last year was anything to judge it by so if anybody fancies a go they can take over my slot, I paid £40 so if anybody wants to take the slot and put something into a charity box (at least something that folds) its yours a bargain I would say.

OR alternatively if anybody wants to do hospital visits twice a day I will gladly swap in Birmingham but only 2 miles to hospital and space for a motorhome on the drive, I will leave my hookup lead out as well

We just turned up and bought a ticket last year, don’t even know if you can pre-book.

No you just join the end of the queue, send your passenger in to buy a ticket. If you are a solo you can park up then go and buy.

Who is the lucky person taking over your kayaking place? Oscar at a guess? If the weather is as bad at Millport as it is here then my toys will be well and truly oot the pram and Millport will be off next year.

Surely the weather can't be that bad...can it...Its bloody awful here. Hoping its gonna pick up 2mor.
