No it won't. Were you just kidding him.dont test after a vaccination as it will show positive for antibodies. have a few whiskys and wake up full of beans tomorrow
Yes. I lived in thurso for 2 years. There was no summerAre you saying that Scotland has a limited summer
To be honest though ive got pretty much zero cough now , no runny nose etc , no Temperature ( never had one ) just a little bit tired and low energy. Having had the cold many many times when i worked in the warehouses etc it feels exactly like those did . I had my second jab on sunday and had very little sleep sunday and monday nights and with all the stress and running around im sure it was just a mix of all that.Hubby called his Dad yesterday and his step-Mum answered (she's lovely), she thought she had a cold and didn't feel well, both had received their 2 vacs, but she did a test to check and it was positive for covid, he had done one and was waiting for the result, so it could be covid - get yourself checked
They'd had a 5 day coach holiday last week to Torquay so no guessing where they've picked it up from! When they got back and even when they knew she was positive they thought it was a good idea for the both to go to the supermarket for some stuff, with her staying in the car ... so much for isolating!
Yeah i do think its partly to do with it and a couple of nights with little sleep. Feeling a lot better todayvaccine after affects. i was fine after first but second put me in bed for a day with bad cold like symptoms.
Id imagine it would have been the truck version ...which is the same engine and i think it shares the chassis too ....the van being the variation which i think is where vario comes fromHi Tam, hope you are feeling somewhat better today.
I've been following tbis thead since tbe beginning although most of it is totally beyond my comprehension lol. Not being at all interested in motors beyond a means of getting me and my animals to my proposed destination.
In my former life I had various lorries/ conversions for transporting my(and others) horses around tbe countryside.
I didn't start driving until I was in my forties. I didn't have a car but did have a "Bull- nosed Thames Trader with a "threepenny-bit cab, top speed 42mph downhill with a following wind.
When I finallytook up driving I had two lessons, I couldn't afford more, I passed on my second attempt.
A couple of days later I set out on ny maiden, solo voyage from mid-Wales to Exmoor complete with one horse and two dogs.
We all just about survived tbat journey but that's another tale that doesn't belong here.
Some years and several lorries later I became tbe owner of my most modern lorry - a Mercedes 814 horsebox! Does that mean it was a VarioTam?
It too ultimately went to tbe scrap yard in tbe sky when It died of rust and body rot. Coz despite going to evening classes to learn welding, it never was a strong point of mine and I certainly wouldnt have risked putting any of my four-legged friends back in it.
Those were the days-Not! I'll stick to the camper and life in the sun now. Although a pet mechanic might come in handy occasionally lol.
If the wife gets too much I think I might buy one!!!Id imagine it would have been the truck version ...which is the same engine and i think it shares the chassis too ....the van being the variation which i think is where vario comes from View attachment 532631
Really, I've not had a TV for years.Having had no TV since i sold Toby ive been enjoying listening to radio 2 of an evening whilst cooking and eating dinner etc ....tonight im being tortured by some dreadful band doing a concert of queen and freddy mercury songs ....they are unbelievably bad .
The last song was who wants to live forever and i have to say if it involves listening to this bunch of screeching cats i certainly don't..
Im off to buy a TV again tomorrow
Are you still getting badgered to get a TV licence?Really, I've not had a TV for years.
Not had one of those in about 8 yearsAre you still getting badgered to get a TV licence?
Nah, I'm not sure where they would send the letter to.Are you still getting badgered to get a TV licence?
I heard some of that and thought it was awful! I don't understand why we should have to listen to crap impersonators when they could play the original Queen tracks! I'll bet the tribute bands would have been better!Having had no TV since i sold Toby ive been enjoying listening to radio 2 of an evening whilst cooking and eating dinner etc ....tonight im being tortured by some dreadful band doing a concert of queen and freddy mercury songs ....they are unbelievably bad .

Yeah id hoped it was going to be queen themselves they were playing ...but instead it was of karaoke quality and they ruined many of the songs in my opinion.I heard some of that and thought it was awful! Yes i think swift, sterling and abbey are all the same company so similar models and finishes. The gas/ electric fire seems quite good and it has the blow air function too so it should be ok ..I recognise the upholstery in your caravan. The photos brought back happy memories of our 2004 Swift (Ace) motorhome that had the same upholstery.
That heater is very efficient so you’ll be cosy and snug this winter, especially with the dogs acting as hot water bottles.
You simply cannot beat a convection type fire like that on a cold morning when you're getting dressed, simply stand in front of it and pull your top away from your waist so the heat goes up and warms your sticky out bits ... or in the case of Tam his man boobs! The gas/ electric fire seems quite good and it has the blow air function too so it should be ok ..
Found out on Saturday that hubby's Dad has got covid too ... so much for a nice holiday to one of the 'hot spots' ... her son's been playing merry hell with her for going, at 90 years of age you'd think she'd have more sense.Hubby called his Dad yesterday and his step-Mum answered (she's lovely), she thought she had a cold and didn't feel well, both had received their 2 vacs, but she did a test to check and it was positive for covid, he had done one and was waiting for the result, so it could be covid - get yourself checked

Yes ive often wondered why motorhomes don't have the fires just the blow heating. This caravan has fire and boiler and both can work on electric or gas or combined. You simply cannot beat a convection type fire like that on a cold morning when you're getting dressed, simply stand in front of it and pull your top away from your waist so the heat goes up and warms your sticky out bits ... or in the case of Tam his man boobs!
With you 100%Yes ive often wondered why motorhomes don't have the fires just the blow heating. This caravan has fire and boiler and both can work on electric or gas or combined.
Gas fire uses no battery power on its own which would be great in the motorhome.
