We will arrive Thursday am our first rally with fun 😂 does anyone know who the the tributes are last time we came they were Willy Nelson and Johnny Cash take offs, and were fantastic, fill me in functors please

See the first entry in the thread - it'll tell you how to book. People are still reporting they've booked so probably still room left but if not Warners will tell you (MHFun will not appear in the list of clubs discount).
 
Has anyone received there Malvern ticket yet as I paid long time ago and haven’t received it yet
 
Booked and paid, will arrive Thurs am.
Arranged with Warners to collect tickets on the gate.

Bookings close at 2pm, Wednesday 2nd August. Book before then if you want to park with us

It's our firstl rally with you guys and gals, as well, don't know if we will be overwhelmed by so many vans and so many funsters of an evening and what do you all do, and I hope .we fit in with you all and it's the start of many rallies together, see you all soon take care.
 
TO ALL RALLY NEWBIES!

I've noticed quite a few "first Rally" posts on here, which is good to see. Funsters are an extremely friendly bunch but a feature of our rallies is that you do whatever you want, nobody will pressurise you and there's no compulsion to join in.

However you'll miss out if you don't make an effort, no matter how small, to join in. In the past there's always been a central meeting place, often a marquee, and I'd suggest that's the first place you should frequent. Yes, you'll see groups of friends gathered around one or two vans, but don't think this is some sort of "clique", they're all happy to talk to "newbies". If no-one else, Jim & Sian (who's often managing the tea urn!) will be happy to welcome you.

Over the years we have made some good friends and acquaintances, often meeting up in the strangest places. If you need advice or help you just have to ask someone, anyone, and you will get it, if not immediately then you'll be directed to someone who can, just like here on the forum.

We'll be there this year in our Swift Bolero, Bertie, the one with the moustache on the bonnet (there's a story) and a Morocco painting on the back. I and wife Brenda will be more than happy to chat. Especially if you like Westies!

And don't forget to pick up a sticker or two for your van from Jim, so you'll be recognised as Funsters when you're out and about.

Looking forward to meeting old friends and new!
