Bodge it solution? Surely that’s a valid test with a new fuse (assuming it’s the correct one)?

Yay - I'm a technical wizard,
managed to open the plastic cover without breaking it
managed to remove the fuse without electrocuting myself

The fuse looks intact
What setting/scale should I use on my multimeter to test it?

That is all 12v in there, if it’s just not working on mains EHU it’s a different and mor dangerous box

My meter doesn't appear to have that setting [or one I can see]
Perhaps it's not quite that "multi"

Anyway, new green 30a fuse put in - no difference so back to square one

That will do for me going down today myself, I have rung them, no delivery option but Bev is joining us on Friday and can collect on the way in

I would like to keep it fairly simple , so fish and chips would be nice and easy take it or leave it

orders need collating by midday tomorrow to be phoned in so they can buy extra fish if needed

I will nudge people later and check who has already asked for food, plus a sausage for the dogs that want , on my way to LT now via Aldi eta 7.00

Other way around for our breakers in the house, workshops and van, up is on and down is off, plus red means danger.

Press the test button and the black one will flick to the off position.

The 240v sockets work and AFAIK the batteries are charging via EHU

Argh, curiosity is a terrible thing - I'm going to have to unpack the garage again & take a look .

Called via Oakham fish bar, very nice lady says they can cope with big order


Fish is Haddock or Cod, for some reason cod is huge £6.80 haddock £7 cod, chips £2 or £3

I forgot to check the price of sausages

They do a mini fish for £5

I will try to compile a list for food on main page, please check as if you are not on there it will not be ordered even if you have asked nicely

Bev hopes to pick it up about 6, I will order tomorrow lunchtime and give them half hour notice of her arrival , but we have a back up toad on site if Bev is late

Haddock is skin on, cod skinless

We will be paying up front by card when ordered, we need reimbursing with cash please
