Hi David. Due to a breakdown in our van yesterday we sadly won’t be able to make it to this meet at Rutland Water. Hope it goes well and the sun shines for you all. Pretty gutted about it cos we love that site and were looking forward to meeting up with you .

Is anyone, who is coming to Lyndon Top, a wizzard with a multimeter ???
My fridge has stopped working on 240v.
Googling suggests it might be the element that has burnt out/expired - apparently the test is resistance - it should have ohms. If it has none this is likely to be the problem.
...erm does a Anker Power Bank count as 240v hook up .I will have mine Stephen and being at least a mile from the nearest hook up I should be safe
The fridge will light up on 12v so it could well be that there is a breaker for the fridge 240v that has tripped, yes the power bank counts when it come to fiddling with it...erm does a Anker Power Bank count as 240v hook up .
Anyway, if it's easy enough to get to, and it won't take you too long, I'd much appreciate it.
Just to ask, the electric element bit of the fridge doesn't have it's own fuse does it - because I've not unburied the fuse/circuit breaker box buried underneath my bed ?
Maybe naively I've assumed I've got electric to my fridge because the control panel illuminates, the fridge lights come on and the gas burner ignites.

Stephen, we have a CBE DS470, although the arrangement of the fuses are different the symbols are familiar. That snowflake symbol is for the fridge on our van, our description states '...30Afuse to give power to 12V AES and 3-way fridge. The 3-way fridge turns off automatically when engine is off....'*CBE
- How do you test a 30a blade fuse with a multimeter?
- Fell at first hurdle - How do I get into this distribution/fuse box* to remove the fuse I want to test?
- Is the green 30a fuse likely to be the fridge fuse?
Should I just wait and leave it to you?
I can't even manage to get the clear plastic cover off !pull it out
