2 vehicles and 3 houses with them as well, so who’s everyone going with these days

Tag axel with £140kish valuation

We went with Caravan Guard at around 50% more than LV which was the best I could find.

Also have 2 cars and 1 house with LV and are waiting to get their quote for them from LV…

Well, much to my surprise having followed this thread, I got my renewal quotation from LV today exactly one month prior to the expiry of my current policy. £30 cheaper than last year too.

Autotrail Expedition 66 PVC. 2021. Worth significantly less than £100k! It's very hard to figure out exactly what is going on!

I haven’t yet even though I emailed Gallagher and asked that they send me their quote sooner rather than later so I could compare to others I was looking at… heard absolutely nothing, not even a ‘thanks for your email…’ email so I’m not holding out much hope for what they offer, if they offer!

Does anyone have a direct telephone number for Highway?
I have started to search the market thanks to LV pulling out.
I did contact Gallagher as promoted by LV as a replacement insurer.
Last year as part of a multi car policy I paid just under £500 for the van. Expecting £700/£800 from Gallagher I was a bit taken aback when they gave me two quotes. The first was for £2,300 so they said we do have another insurer on our books. That one was £2,700!!!!
So obviously Dick Turpin is alive and well living in Manchester!

My experience of Gallagher above.
For me it looks like NFU will be getting the business. Adrian Flux were top until I spoke to NFU.

Same here - no reply to email and when I phoned they weren’t up and running for motorhome quotes . Bizarre or what ?

Well, my renewal quote came through last week from LV and it's cheaper.

I've just cancelled my ins for the van now sold and thought I would get a quote for a car I fancy a kia sportage and was shocked at the quote £712 that's twice what I used to pay for a 40 k van no wonder they don't want the motorhome business

I think it's down to when your renewals due. There's probably a cutoff date.

Have done some searching around and Comfort have come in with a good price.
