Cant find the main keys for my Fiat Adria , had them yesterday morning , now they are missing , not in my house , car or anywhere I have been between 9am when I had the keys and 1pm when I could not find them now freaking out ?????????

I have been in a state last few days since my van hit fights with family about it ?? seems thay are blaming me for everything ,, Im worried I will get another heart attack , or tip into another horrible depression , im losing my temper every 5 minutes and feel like smashing every thing all the time

all I want is for it to go away and be on my own

And they will always turn up immediately after you have bought replacements

I would be going round the whole of the motorhome to start with.
Choose a point to start with then do the top cupboards all the way round then middle then bottom.
Open and empty everything.
Consider toilet. I lost a set of keys out of a back pocket when assuming the number 2 position.

Really rack your brains and walk through everything you did that day. Walk to shed to get a tool ? Take a phone call and wonder around ? Pop out in car for milk ?

Hope they turn up sooner rather than later

Keep safe

Lost my car keys in the mh when my wife helpfully hung up my trousers with the keys in them in the wardrobe, causing them to fall into the far corner of the mh wardrobe behind the pile of boxes at bottom of the mh wardrobe.

We've not lost the mh keys ... yet. But have as others have said had to haev new ones cut. Don't worry, it's a cheap fix if you can't find them but take literally everything out of mh from every cupboard.

Not key related but proof as to how easy things are lost. I had been using my passport extensively over the last 12 months due to my dad passing and me required to provide ID for any dealing I had with his estate. After a trip to a bank I got back in to my car and put my passport in my glovebox. About 2 weeks later I needed my passport for another ID check and could not find it anywhere. I knew I has put it in my glove box but nowhere to be seen. My wife and I tore the house apart looking for it and in the end put it down as lost. Reported it as such and bought a new passport. 2 days after my new passport arrived, I jumped in my car and noticed the red corner of what looked like my passport hanging below the hinges of my glovebox. Sure enough it was it. My passport had slipped out of the back of the glovebox when closing it or during a journey and dropped inside my dashboard. What are the chances. £80 wasted on a new passport as the original was only 3 years old.

Good News

My Daughter found them by accident this morning. In the Cats Basket. ?????!!!! Relief all round. How they got there is a mystery it's on a cat climbing tower nearly 6ft up. She was dismantling the tower for her move to Wiltshire

The most feeble excuse for not emptying every cupboard in the motorhome ;)

And relax

In reference to my thread (mentioned above) I found my wallet in the kitchen waste bin after a 2 hour search. Just saying I know what it's like.

Maybe it was a cat burglar?

Glad you found them.
Reminded me to check the battery status on our “tiles”. One needs changing so I must do that in the morning.

Why would I post on a forum the fact that I had lost my keys!
Am I missing something?
Perhaps go back to the very first post and re read the 2nd paragraph

Good advice ... they will turn up in one of the most unlikely places

I lost my expensive sunglasses, looked bloody everywhere.. gave up.. a week or so later, found them in the boot my daughters car under a car mat.... cant ever recall being in there ...it's an age thing .. just relax and talk a walk..
Glad you found them. Some good news (y)

Wonder if the cat took them up there ?

For a period we had one set of house keys. As I would leave the house early in the morning i would lock the door and then put my hand through the cat flap and toss the keys well inside the kitchen so my wife had the set for later on. On two occasions my wife called me to ask why I’d left the keys on the outside door mat which i knew i hadn’t…. Next day i did the usual process, keys chucked inside through the flap and then i waited… our then young Cocker Spaniel popped his head through the cat flap looking very happy with himself holding the keys in his mouth, then of course dropping them on the door mat, mystery solved😂 sometimes our pets do a great job of confusing us.

We once lost a frozen chicken, looked everywhere, freezer ,fridge ,car, cellar nowhere to be found. Just over a week later after a putrid smell in the kitchen, opened the microwave and there it was a putryfying blue green mass in a plastic wrapper.
So glad you found your keys.
