Pretty useless as a leisure battery tend to have a very short life, need to be charged to the exact charge profile,. Don't like heavy loads like inverters. Had two on my last van from new they both failed at 18 months wouldn't honor the warranty.

I think part of the problem is that AGM batteries are not all the same and they don’t last if they are not charged properly. Even if your charging devices have an AGM setting it might not be the right voltage and absorption time for your particular purchase. There are 3 basic types AGM1, AGM2 and AGM Lead Carbon. On top of this different manufacturers specify different charging voltages and absorption times. They are often sold as drop in replacement batteries but I am not convinced.

Exide ES 900 or Sonnenschein GF1265Y, Exide rated at 80ah, Sonnenschein 78ah almost identical batteries both made in the Sonnenschein factory. Buy whichever is cheapest

Update for me too, bit the bullet and ordered the 300ah Fogstar, used paypal so have 4 months to save up and pay it off at 0%.
The old banner battery was pretty much on it's last legs and getting away for 3 nights over Christmas confirmed exactly that!
