Well good evening,,, what a day that was!!

first shock of the day,,, met my new neighbour, Steve,, nice bloke,, he’s got a brand new Mercedes sport, with a personal plate! Social housing eh !!! Lolol

Right,, I went for carpets first,,, went to a dozen or so places before I came across a large store that had a fitter free for tomorrow,, everyone else was three weeks wait!! TAPI carpets I think there called,, Paid an arm and a leg, but coming tomorrow, about 12,, bonus!!

Then on to Currys for washing machine, fridge freezer, cooker, microwave and a new kettle! I can’t believe the prices of the carpets and appliances,, I havnt bought anything like it for years and Christmas,, it’s daylight robbery,, in fact I told all of em they should be wearing a mask!!

silly me thinking I might get away with £2.000 all in,,, ive done that today, already!! And I still need a bed, sofa, chair, wardrobe ( of sorts) andlots of the small stuff, like curtains etc! I reckon another £2.2/500 and I’m good! Thank god I did ok with Helga!

well now I’m knackered, so I’m going to eat, then bath, then collapse! I hope your day was more relaxing! Xxxxx

Well done that man...when we first put a carpet in the conservatory we chose a cheaper carpet but bought the most expensive underlay, they said it would last longer and feel like the more expensive underfoot.

Yes it is amazing how much cash you get through buying appliances.

You're going to eat before having a bath....hey what are you sleeping on?

I bought a blow up double bed, with an automatic pump and everything!! Took itself 3 mins to inflate and feels pretty good !

got it from the range, £35 I think!!

but it will come in handy for whoever! Lol.

Are you in an older persons scheme? If so they are sometime thermostatically limited to stop persons scolding themselves?
