LIFE AFTER HELGA !!!!

Have a great day Ian. Savour the start of a new page in your book of life - new chapter even.

I'm in the middle of fitting my kitchen with Ikea units. Always found Ikea to be well priced and good quality.

8 cabinets, one cooker extractor to go but thankfully I can use the cooker while building.

Definitely get the Ikea Family Card. Free tea or coffee Mon - Fri and often special prices for all sorts of things including breakfasts.

Ian you certainly have given yourself a lot to do today, good luck.

Two mugs of tea down and kettle on !!

so plan of attack!!!

get keys, sign tenancy, empty van, have a brew, measure up for carpets and curtains/ blinds etc, go shopping for carpets/ blinds etc, then Currys for fridge freezer, washing machine, cooker, bring back to flat in van, unload van, back out for supplies, garden table and chairs, blow up bed ( if I don’t buy a permanent one,) unload van, back out for sofa, chair ( if I don’t get from internet)

clean kitchen, plumb washing machine in, set fridge freezer, place cooker( not fitting, gas)

slow walk to bathroom, bend down and place plug in hole, fill to brim with boiling hot water and fall in!! Luxury!!! X

Morning Ian, good luck today, why would you not fit the cooker, it's more than likely just a bayonet flex.

Are you still waiting Ian :wondering:

Oh bugger...why do they make it so difficult?????

I think that January's GDP will show a severe downturn as all (well, nearly all) motorhome owners are sitting at the kitchen table refusing to go anywhere until they hear from ianthebuilder.
Hurry up Ian's new landlord, the country needs you to do you bit.
Perhaps Boris can "Get Rental Done".

There's nearly always a service charge with flats to pay for the communal areas, such as grass cutting, cleaning outside the flats etc.

We own a block of apartments and a couple of apartments in other buildings, none have a separate service charge added to the rent although I know it can be. I was wondering if the agent was adding an admin service charge.

Remember if you go to IKEA ...YOU MUST follow the arrows.

If you don't members of staff will carry you off through one of the many maze like exits and you'll never be seen again.

I lost a child that way in 2006
Poor child... must be getting hungry by now..?

Happy New Home Mr Ian xxx Been in your situation [between homes !] more than once .
Charity furniture shops are much better than cheaper new shops for things like chests of drawers/wardrobes- and it is amazing what a quick coat of chalk paint can do to these things. All the best and happy shopping xxx

congratulations on the new flat Ian, sorry to see you have had a flytipper dump a load in your new home
