We can tell you are back in The UK Lenny, there are people walking about in your pictures, I was beginning to think that both you & Tam scarred them away back into their houses.

Now at The Sunn Inn, Pooley Bridge, Ullswater for the night. Only a few minutes walk to the lake but too cold for paddleboarding. 8 flipping degrees here when we arrived, now its dropped to 6°.
About time these northerners did something about these silly temperatures.

Flipping heck it's dropped another degree in the last ½hour.

We're about 20 odd miles further north from Pooley Bridge and have just had the first frost on our car this morning.

How was it there? We walked past last night to check the carpark out for future use. Friendly reception? Food looks good.

I didn’t clock the reg plate. If I had done I would have. You don’t want to know as you’d keel over at the cost! We’re walking into the village shortly if your still there and look like your about I’ll come and say hello.

Cant get away abroad until again until April. We are looking after Mi's mum for a week in Feb, only got to cook dinner for her she is 92 and still in good health lives in an anex at Mi's younger brothers. Then not allowed to go away until after grandsons birthday at the end of March.

Sounds like a busy program at home, plenty of time to plan and purchase all the new goodies for the new MH, what is the plan then, do you have a list of upgrades worked out ?

If it's any consolation, Lenny, the weather's terrible here in France now.
We spent last night in Dieppe, planning to do some shopping and sight seeing before this evening's ferry.
It's blowing an absolute hooly and the rain has been lashing down all morning.
We've been stuck in the van all morning and Graham's just ventured out to take Gus for a walk.
First time I've had to wear jeans and a jumper since we arrived 5 weeks ago.🌧.
Hope it calms down a bit before our crossing..

Our neighbours who we spent a few days with in the Dordogne gave up in Northern France got the tunnel back yesterday.
Now in Barrow bright and sunny and up to 12°.
