Awesome, brilliant, fantastic night last night, a music festival in the town.
Superb rock 'n Roll band in the main square we managed to get to the front and spent nearly 2 hours dancing to them. A heavy rain shower was a welcome relief to heat when dancing. One of the best Rock 'n Roll bands we have seen and we have seen a lot.
Built up out own German fan club, I can be big headed now after receiving comments about our dancing like "Brilliant" "Fantastic" .
Nearly 2 am when we crawled into bed.
About five stages around the town, most of the other bands were heavy rock.

The Rock 'n Roll band for their encore after their 2nd set dressed in prison garb and started with Jailhouse Rock.

These old rockers were doing ACDC numbers.

They drilled a bore hole, the spout is natural, the water jet due to C02 build up that is naturally present in the soil has about a 2 hour cycle. You can read all about it online.

I am imagining a scenario where you were offered a choice of custard, cream, or ice cream with the apfelstrudel, and were finding it hard to make a decision. The waiter helpfully suggests that you have all three. Big grins all round.

I just though I would bore you all with another one of my trips.

Crossed the channel yesterday evening parked up at Citie Europe at the mo.

Decided to pay another visit to Caravan Salon this year, would break my heart & wallet to pay for a crossing for few days.
So we are having 2½ weeks (all the boss would allow). Then back home for 1½ weeks then somewhere warm for 6 weeks.

No definite plans but thinking of the Mosel area for a couple of weeks then meeting up with my mate JonP before heading to Dusseldorf.

On the way home now did a bit of a detour to Waterloo. Got flipping soaked started peeing down when we got to the top.

Here you are Alex Stealaway some steps for Hilary, makes the ones at the canal seem like a doddle.

Sitting at Eurotunnel now, our little detour cost us dear. Got stuck in several rush hour traffic jams, arrived at 8:00 for our 8:20 train, bum we were too late next one we could get on was 10:50. The one before that one is delayed so not too hopeful, at least on the other side only 20 min from Mi's Brother where we will spend the night.
