When I last visited, back in the early 80's, I seem to recollect that we could touch the Black Madonna and she looked different somehow..... is my memory deceiving me..... (it was a long time ago) is there still the statue of Romulus and Remus suckling from the she-wolf around the back?

She is in a glass case there is a hole where you can touch her right hand. Notices says do not touch her because of Covid Spaniards not taking any notice.

So that's why the bow and the stern were pointing skyward on the paddle board and while were at it you really must change those boxer shorts for something a little less gregarious.

Most are taken on a Lumix TZ60 (obsolete) & some on my phone.

Stressful morning yesterday, drove down to Banyoles to have a look at the lake. Market or something going on in the tow, all roads to the lakeside road close. Two trips around the town down some very narrow roads and gave up and drove around the other side of the lake, nowhere to park.
I wouldn't say I was stressed but there is a campsite on the other side of the lake. I suggested we go in That was immediately overruled by 'er indoors.

Now at Caldes de Malavella, the CP only has 5 spaces so we spent the night in the bus parking and got a space in the CP this morning. Servicing & free EHU when street lights are on but need at least a 50m lead only got about 35—40m.
