Lenny's off again Germany, then wherever

Safe trip and looking forward to following yer travels. Never thought I would but quiet a fancy to do Europe next year.

Why did the fuse melt..???
Probably a poor contact and the connection had been arcing.
Poor design me thinks. Compressor draws 30 amps, fuse was 40 amp standard blade fuse would have been more sensible to use a Midi fuse or at least a Maxi blade fuse.

Have a great trip Lenny and don’t forget when you get to Germany ‘Don‘t mention the war’ 🤭
That reminds me, a few years ago sitting down on the Hymer stand at Caravan Salon with our Belgium dealer supping their beer surrounded by Germans. Our dealer says in a very loud voice "Don't mention zee var" we just creased up in hysterics.

Have you already eaten the other bit of quiche, as it’s not a circle?

If so a man after my own heart, chefs testing if warm enough!

I suspect no. 10 will be gross. 30 years ago I went on a booze cruise with work, we bought Amsterdam Navigator as it was the strongest stuff, just googled it an it still exists at 8%, I'm sure it was much stronger than that in the old days but it was truly disgusting until watered down with Stella!!

As my mate said at the time, not quite sure what you could navigate after drinking that stuff!

Could be classed as a bit rough, if you want to go anywhere on the boat you have to walk four times the distance as you get flung from one side to the other.

Something to sooth the stomach after dinner.

Don't forget the "remain seated other than for essential reasons" announcement, followed by "the duty free shop and cafe are now open" 😄

Belgium strong beers are quite drinkable.

Use to bring a mate back a few bottles of 14% Brigand beer when ever we went to Belgium, he use to have half a bottle at a time😁😁

Being Germany the food on offer is dire.
Takeaway pizza & donner kebab just up the road. Walked up to the hotel restaurant a choice of schnitzel, schnitzel or schnitzel. Then found a bar in the village with a choice of pizza or donner kebab.

So we settled on:-

Last time we were in Ghent we went in here and what an amazing Bar, the selection of beers and strengths was mesmerising, came out a bit razzled .
