Lenny's Modding the new Mini Gin Palace 2

Duncan had one done in Truro in October. All ok, but don’t think surgeon was much good at stitching between pinky and next on right hand. Left is not great but not yet good enough yet. Best of luck with your physio and exercises. Worth doing 🫶💕
Same surgeon that did my other one 8 years ago, supposed to be one of the best in the country, he said it had gone really well.

Bit of a pain they have put a plaster cast on it this time.

Of course being Lenny I had it done in a private hospital FOC, NHS paid.

Not the sort you're thinking of!
I was starving when I came round and desperate for a coffee, felt better after a cheese and ham sandwich and 2 cups of decent coffee, could have had a salad but I only eat them in hot weather. 🤣

I have that and it’s a bloody pain (physically and figuratively) when it locks closed.

Ian
And when it gets caught round the steering wheel, it was the ring finger on my right hand, this one was little finger on left hand.

Since I had the op on my right hand it's been perfect, but it's not always the case.

I got a private en-suite room after my op last year

When I got to my room the nurse asked me if I would like some toast and in my still slightly asleep state I thought she asked me if I wanted white or red and I thought it was very posh offering wine 🍷 ::bigsmile:

I only ate the salad for main meal as it was the best meal on offer.

Is ok on graphics? Take your point about seeing the whitish peglaze on a white moho!
Fine on the graphics I hope it protects them as Carthago have a name for s*it graphics.

The ore glaze is almost clear goes cloudy after 5 to 10 min, then you apply the top coat.

My slight fear is that it happens when I’m riding the bike but, fortunately, the throttle grip is a larger diameter than that which normally triggers it.🤞

Yes, unlocking it can be a challenge. For some reason third parties don’t seem to like doing it.😎😆

Same here but mine never lasted that long. 🤷‍♂️

I was only there a few hours.
One nurse told not to drink for 24 hours then said you will be OK by tomorrow evening, then another one said 48 hours.
Mi's birthday tomorrow going out for meal lunchtime with my mate & his wife, I might risk it, I can only fall over. 🤣

Don't offer the injection here, having read your comments I'm pleased they don't.
Even after the OP it can grow back very slow in older people so not a problem. A lot quicker in young people 20-40 year olds.

I’ve had em in my fingers, shoulders and both elbows (numerous) they work for a while then I have to get it done again🤷‍♂️ my body’s a wreck😁😁

Hope your hand progresses well Lenny. I’ve only just seen your post, gosh you’re going to be bored for a bit. At least you can go dancing but I suppose you’ll just have to be careful not to clunk anyone with your plaster and you might not be quite as balanced initially.

Dupuytrens and trigger finger aren’t the same at all, Lenny’s is much worse. It affects the tissues of the palm causing thickening and contractures. Progressive. Trigger finger is just the tendons and nodules form which catch which is why you can straighten your finger back out and steroid injections can work for a bit and surgery is minor.

Sounds like he has a good surgeon though.

Sorry Lenny  With us working in the middle of nowhere for six months reception was really poor so I was only following threads when possible. Just caught up with you and didn't realise you were in hospital whilst I was pestering for advise  Hope your hand heals quick and have a lovely weekend 😊

Technical support may be slower than normal, unless Lenny gets a secretary to type for him :ROFLMAO:
So what can we talk about to fill the time lags? ... Just fishing for suggestions! 😆
