Sods law:
Young Garry Just smiffy sent me a PM this morning saying he was still around Dieppe asking where we were and he would pop over and have a chat.
Sods law today was the only day in 5½ weeks that I didn't check the forum while having lunch. So we missed seeing Garry, shame I would like to have seen him again.

To make matters even worse both restaurants in the village closed down.

Now at Saint-Nicolas-d'Aliermont, only 16 km from Dieppe.
Small Aire just 2 places.

Looks like someone has bought the Chateau and it is being restored.

On the other side of the road this looks like the original driveway.

You can tell you are back in the UK 2 miles from home A27 down from 3 lanes to one and the junction we want closed.
No advance warning if there has been we could have come off at the previous junction.

Took an hour to get home from the port.

Well done, hope you had a great trip. We have been following you each day and have gained some great advice for our planned trip this coming June, if we get the gas problem sorted, already put our trip back by 4 weeks. Hope your new van arrives and look forward to your next adventure.

Not allowed to go away for more than 6½ weeks someone wont let me go any longer she has to see the grandkids.
This trip was only 5½ weeks as a family 40th on Sunday.

45 days on travel insurance.

It has been a great thread and I don't think "shortish" trips cramp your style. Living where you do Dieppe is easily reached making it simple and affordable to return.

Can imagine that feeling, you could make a nice compromise though, 6 weeks on , 6 weeks off
